Cold Hawaii Games 2021 - Extreme Big Air Kiteboarding

On 23 September 2021 there was a once in a year storm forecasted for the North of Denmark. The top 18 Big Air kiteboarders gathered at the little town of Vorupor to hold the Cold Hawaii Games.
Mother nature delivered up to 12 beaufort winds combined with huge waves resulting in an epic show.
Here is a quick and dirty edit of the competition. No crowds (there were plenty) No landings (who cares about those) just raw action and atmosphere. This one is for the kiteboarders.

Awesome piece of sports cinemavision! I‘ve witnessed the madness of the #coldhawaii2021 with my own eyes and I know that this short clip gives everyone a deep insight of the feeling of 3-4 Meter waves and 50+ knots at Vorupør.
Even 36h after the actual event - I am still flashed of the performance of everyone who went into a competition that day! What a wild environment!
This feeling gets transmitted by this short movie so well - by your understanding of views and composition- it’s a f@@&€&” masterpiece !!
My deep respect and love to everyone who are on a such a #chasingstorm mission and to those who freeze at a pier capturing these madness.
