  • I've listed 100 commonly used expressions in daily conversation.
    They are short and easy to remember.
    I omitted personal pronouns and ending particles because that's exactly how Thai native speakers speak regularly.

    Great lesson, Shelby. Can you, please, film a video about Thai candy brands?
    It's very important to know Thai different trade marks and brands.

    9:14 มันไม่ได้แย่ขนาดนั้น "It's not that bad." The transliteration for แย่ is wrong I think.

    👍✍️ thanks for the lesson kap. "Don't be late," ห้าม hâam vocab more like prohibited...Usage stronger than "yàa/mai?" Also what is, "khà-nàad nán?" ไม่ได้แย่ขนาดนั้น "mai dai yaak khà-nàad nán" like," don't want bad/terrible not that much?"

      But I added นะ at the end so it’s the same meaning/degree as อย่าสายนะ
      ไม่ได้แย่ not that bad. There is a typo yâe not yâak

    1:59 the word ย่าง is a low tone mark with a low class consonant beginning the word. Isn't that normally a falling tone? It's marked as "low tone" in the transliteration.

    • @cliveedwards9684
      @cliveedwards9684 3 роки тому +2

      The word begins with อ which is middle class, hence the low tone

    • @LearnThaiwithShelby
      @LearnThaiwithShelby  3 роки тому +1

      There are 4 words of exception that lead with ห but are spelled with อ อย่า อยู่ อย่าง อยาก all of them are low tone.
