Nice playing! Why did you decide to go for a Nord? Have you also considered a Yamaha CP88? I am kind of torn between these two. What I like more about the Nord is the free sound library, which the CP88 does not have.
Thanks @myrisek1 , unfortunately sorry I never owned any Yamaha piano, but I had a try on it before and personally I don't prefer Yamaha because their pianos touch is not that great unless you get high-end models, I decided to go for Nord because I have always heard about the myth that it doesn't just feels natural in touch but sounds great and it's true that it can be similar with other weighted keyboards but yet has its unique quality than any other brands.
If I may... I wanted to go cp88 or yc88 but the pianos sound overly compressed and don't have string resonance AFAIK. No doubt great live but in exhaustive self testing on my own headphones I basically opted for a nord stage 4 in the end. To me the nord piano sounds feel simply more alive to my ears.
Just my view but you can hear it on an andertons comparison video quite clearly.
Damn shame. I love the yamaha aesthetic and like their organ on the yc88 more.
Tho I have heard folks say the yam electric pianos are better than nord
Also, you can add more sounds in Nord but not in Yamaha. It is a deal breaker for me.

Were you able to produce that ambient background “airy” sound straight from the factory sounds? I’m looking to for that modern worship music sound. I know the Stage can do it but if the Piano 5 can replicate it I’ll go that cheaper route. Great playing.
Hey @ryanboudreaux8547 this is a good question, yes in fact I think specifically compare the Piano 5 came out later than Stage 3, which they added new patches into the Piano 5 and sadly some new patches that are in Piano 5 can't be added into Stage 3 due to the sound library version incompatibility. Anyway, I recommend the Pacific Pad in the Nord Piano 5, it sounds great to me!

Where did you buy it from? I ask cause aliexpress seems to have much much cheaper ones (probably knockoffs) but nonetheless, I’m trying to find information about the knockoffs to see if they are any good.

The external Speakers also matter a ton when buying these types of keyboard, correct? I have an iLoud Micro-monitor speaker myself, I don't know if that would be sufficient for the keyboards if I'm planning to get one :(
Ohh yes. But for me I have been relying more on listening through In-Ear earphones, so not a serious issue for me yet.
Video sounds pretty good even coming off my phone speaker tho aye. I'm sure this keyboard will sound nice on any speaker that is even remotely flat response

How is the Keybed, have you played the nord grand, trying to decide which one to get, most likely get the piano 5 just because it can layer dual piano and synth.
Hey, the keybed is great on the Nord Piano 5 and somehow I prefer its touch feel than the Nord Stage 3. I tried the Nord Grand too which is a whole new level on the touch because it features the Kawai Hammer Action which in layman terms I felt like I was playing real Kawai Upright Piano. However, I decided to went for the Piano 5 since I need some portability :)
