- They climb mountains with such aplomb that there is no longer any place they can't go.
In the summer, they walk at least 4 km a day for at least 3 hours.
Not to mention Aty, Ui is becoming a much more muscular otter.

Aty: A little boy otter who came to our house at the age of 9 months.
At first he couldn't even swim in the river, but now he loves the river more than anything else and swims in it all year round.
Whenever we go out, he always walks ahead of everyone, so he has come to be called “Captain Aty”.
Ui: A tomboy with comical movements.
Because of her ferocious nature, she had to go from one owner to another.
At first, she was so ferocious that Aty was too frightened to even touch her.
But Ui opened up to us and now she and Aty make out every day.
Aty and Ui have been issued a certificate of registration as an internationally rare wild animal and plant species.
Although Ui may appear calm today, she used to be so ferocious that people could not approach her.
After more than a year of being bitten, she finally came to live with us.
Otters are very intelligent and watch the people around them very carefully.
They will never open their hearts to you if you only have a superficial relationship with them.
They are also very active animals and require several hours of exercise per day.
They need to be walked outside or swam in the river for two to three hours every day.
The amount of exercise they get inside the house will never be enough to satisfy their needs.
Please do your research on otters before you think that “I want to keep one."
You need to think carefully about whether you can face them with your life.

It's so fun to tag along on Aty and Ui's adventures- to see them having so much fun, and for anyone not in Japan to see your gorgeous country through their/your eyes! Thank you for these generous videos and for being so loving to your otters. They are so well-loved; it's calming to see their happiness and playtime! Also, I love how you let their play be self-guided for the most part... such a joy to watch.

This river trekking was during last year's August. Hopefully we get to explore more river adventures with them once Ui is finally up for long walks (she's now cleared for swimming, long treks not known).

It’s amazing how adventurous Aty can be. The sky is the limit. And Ui follows him of course. I love the lunch break by the water falls. Aty eating standing up on his back hinds is hilarious. At least Ui enjoyed that trip before the surgery. ❤❤❤
Very strong and, healthy otters. You take really good care of them. You always take them to some of the most beautiful places. All of that exercise is good for them. They love the adventures.

I believe that Aty could climb to the top of the world if he set his mind on it! It's good to see them as they were last summer, enjoying these beautiful places and each other's company. I think that Ui was in great shape because of that exercise and enjoyment, and it helped her when she was recovering from her surgery. I look forward to following them as they enjoy new adventures next summer! 💖

That was a fun river to explore. Nice, large rocks to check underneath. Aty really likes the water falls also. Both of them are such excellent athletes, Aty could climb a canyon and Ui would follow. Wonderful video, Otterman.

Aty and Ui radiate with health and happiness. They naturally glow in the beauty of this place. It’s one of my most favorite spots in the world now and my daydreams will take me there often. 転倒や滑落したら救助もままならないので安全なギア装備でﾌﾟﾘｰｽﾞ
It's wonderful to see Aty and Ui enjoying this natural environment - although it's too bad they have to be kept on leashes the whole time. Although it's cute to see other otters online in their homes or facilities, I often feel sorry for them, especially when they only get to "swim" in a large bathtub or interact with toys and towels in a mostly bare room. Some "house otters" like Kotaro and Hana enjoy different activities around the house and get lots of attention and interaction with their human parents, and I know the "wild" environment is not for Princess Hana, but I still approve and appreciate all you do for Aty and Ui to provide them with healthy and more natural exercise and sights and sounds at the rivers and in the mountains, which is where they should be (minus all the hardships and dangers you protect them from).
