I played this tank a lot back when it wasn't too power-creeped - always liked it, and I (still) prefer tier 9 over tier 10. If WG ever gets around to making a pass on some of the older tanks like this one, I'd consider getting it again if it buffed in some reasonable way.
I recently finished grinding the AMX 50B line... I must say AMX 50 100 is okay, but AMX 50 120 needs a buff.

back when that line was introduced and you would see a platoon of AMX 50 B unicums show up and trash a round it was pretty cool. But ya, pretty old in the teeth now. The lorraine when it was introduced at tier 8 was pretty fun.
To think players would complain about that frenchy medium tank saying it was op for tier 8 and then you see Bourrasque, GSOR, Caliban...all of them outperforming that medium tank...times sure have changed over the years.
I was once in a Somua against a 50 120. I penetrated all my shots and he could only penetrate me with one of his 4 shots. That was nice.
It's annoying because the 50 100 can duel with the Somua, with it's 6 shots and 2.5s intra-clip the outcome is decided by skill and, moreover, RNG.

Thank you for quiet submarine song, Skill. Every time you sing this song, my speakers almost blow up. Makes me think you're playing World of Warships or something.
Something tells me they would introduced to a premium tier 9 French auto loader heavy that rivals to the T57, with 105mm gun 4 clip auto loader and 390 average damage with better armor just like Souma SM.
The main probelm for me is that the 100mm Gun has better performance stats on the predecessor (AMX 50 100), and the 120mm has better performance stats on the successor (AMX 50B).
It's feels like they didn't know what to do for Tier IX, and it shows.
The last game could have been won easily with 3 capping, but the team went for kill all.

I still love 50b but will all bond eq, for me 50b have all what he should have. I dont know, mb for someone will be better if they would add some dpm or i dont know ? What do u need in 50b guys to buff ?
@@aditanadi better gun handling and dpm would be nice considering its size and lack of armor, id also like for it to be changed into a medium since your team is at a disatvantage just because its a heavy
No matter how you want to hear it. It's OUTDATED. Even with buffs, just another heavy paper autoloader. Yeah, outdated.

The 2,046 HP sudden drop in enemy health in less than 1 second from 3,271 to 1,225 at 22:38 was pretty crazy. Judging by the E75's low health and the fact the HP drop occurs just as he shows himself, I'm guessing he dropped down and took damage from the fall.

I got this tank today and people hate on the intro clip. It’s not as bad as it seems because there is the char futur 4
The problem is that the intra clip on the tier 8/ 10 gun is better on the tier 8/ 10 tank respectively, exacerbating this the gun handling stats are also worse when either gun is on the 120.
The angle of the frontal armour is basically the only thing unique to the 120.
Started a drinking game while playing this tank. Evry time I get penned I I do a shot, I'm now at the point I don't care :)
This tech tree belong in a museum. Even 50b is not very playable without gold.

This is not a front line heavy and in game one should be sitting back sniping not up front. You can sit back at G2 and snipe anything poking hill B2 and still be in position to support other flank which if you look at mini map you were losing.

21:25 When old tanks in the same tier become obsolete, it doesn't mean game is progressing, it's called 'power creep' and it's not something positive. It means developers are incapable of keeping the game balanced and introduce new content at the same time. Which is actually a deliberate thing caused by greed. T25 pilot and Bourrasque being at the same tier is a perfect example of this game's broken balance, caused by one of the most disgusting greed any gaming company has ever exhibited...
Bourrasque is a living HE target. It's a pathetic tank

@@KomBackHordz That's saying the WT Auf E100 is also pathetic because it's a rolling HE target. Bourrasque is one of the best tier 8's, mobility, camo, very nice clip damage. It has everything you need and armor is irrelevant anyway as every tomato spams full gold nowadays.

The 120, for me, is one of those tanks that, for no reason I can fathom, is a winning machine. It always had a bad rap even when the 100 and the 50B were awesome. Coming through it I dreaded it but almost couldn't lose in it. I kept it and it stayed that way. I don't even like heavy tanks. Makes no sense but here we are. I think everyone has one of those.
The thing is trashy tanks like this one having impressive games can get you and your team an incredible w/r not to mention a fairly good amount of Ace Tankers which are very handy for 279E missions. One of my friends prefer to play with the 100mm rather than the 120mm gun in this tank because it's 200 extra damage in total sacrificing pen in the process but the support role is still there nevertheless. The impact bad tanks can have in a game with a decent performance is very significant.
@@juanjodpr I remember the smart tip with the 100 was to run the 90mm gun. Liked that one a lot, but got the Lorraine and sold the 100. But the 100 running a high skill crew and the 90mm was a beastie. I hardly play anymore but THAT one I remember.
@@ElsinoreRacer I like the smaller caliber guns in certain tanks because the intraclip is faster than with bigger guns, so when you track someone, it's easier to permatrack a tank and cause critical damage to some modules, like the engine or the ammorack, than the bigger gun. Normally ammoracks and engines have around 350-380 HP, so two hits with 240 will cause critical damage faster than a single shot if it lowrolls with the big gun which normally has 400 and it takes 3.33 seconds while the smaller guns normally have like 2-2.5 seconds intraclip. This might seem insignificant but it can save your life, not to mention bigger calibers normally have longer reload times and the gameplay might change according to this.
World of tanks can’t add (as many) gimmicks like world of warships can, which means unfortunately the only way to make things interesting is to make new things more competitive than the older

You played too scared in the 3rd battle. Most of the damage you took was when you were running away, so your cowardice didn’t help you.

I loved this tank, the 100, and 50B were all great tanks a while back. Loved the Lorraine 40 when it was Tier 9, but like WoT always do rather than bring in equal tanks they bring in new tanks and nerf the old to make you use the newer ones. I used to be able to hold my own in the T34 Prem even in tier 10 games would do decent damage, now the 34 is absolute crap and can't hardly hold its own against a T29. IS6 blah. So I stopped spending and now only watch. Power creep has killed this game except for a few...
This is one of the reasons why i don't play this game that much anymore, all the tanks i love to play have either been nerfed or power creeped into the ground, i have zero interest in all these new tanks they're pushing on us, i just wanna play with the same tanks i was playing with back in 2019 but it seems that WG doesn't want me to.
@@Acme1970 You would think they would see how they are driving players away, the drop in numbers on the servers is pretty noticeable.
Sad story is how that tank was incredible as hulldown monster and now it's mediocre at best. You have 50TP Prototype which is literaly better at everything, Skoda hitting for 460 twice every 20 seconds, IS-3A hitting 3 times and having more dpm than you...it's very sad how the T34 sucks nowadays.

The fact that you keep reloading and do so with two shells remaining touch not only your firepower in half and your DPM in half but it also screws the rest of your teammates over when they could use those two 400 alpha shells to help them out. That first game was the perfect example of this. The tank might be old but it is very simple to play because the style you play it in is very simple.
I haven't yet seen the video, so I don't know the situations you are talking about but in general that statement makes no sense and is a tomatocomment

This tank is rated "playable". I can guarantee it's one of the worst tanks in the game right now. All negatives mentioned by Skill apply, horrible gun, lackluster mobility - for such cheap armor - no armor whatsoever etc. Its just shit. Don't grind beyond t8 because if you are facing t9 and t10 with 500 dmg guns, you get f...
