How many, if any, of these "quotes" have been actually verified as having been from Bruce Lee? Even if some of them are in the Tao Of Jeet Kune Do that doesn't mean they weren't just things Bruce took from other sources for his own inspiration, he didn't write what became The Tao of JKD for publication, it was taken from his journals, basically. I'm not saying Bruce wasn't a deep thinker (sometimes), I'm just saying it's sad that only 50 years after his death so many "quotes" are already being falsely attributed to a man who, in his lifetime, repeatedly said that he valued "honest self-expression".

Bruce Lee studied psychoanalysis, ancient philosophy, modern philosophy, and Chinese philosophy, and integrated them. Most importantly, he practiced it. How much philosophy is there? The family will only say that they will not do it
