Scheherazade (Rimsky-Korsakov) - Piano Solo (Figure Skating Music Version)

"Scheherazade", Op. 35, is a symphonic suite composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov in 1888 and based on "One Thousand and One Nights" (also known as "The Arabian Nights"). It is one of Rimsky-Korsakov's most popular works. "Scheherazade" was inspired by the tales of "The Arabian Nights", in which the cruel Sultan Shahryar, convinced of the faithlessness of all women, takes a new bride every night only to have her executed at dawn, until one, Scheherazade, saves herself and wins his heart by telling stories, being sure to end each night in the middle of a tale.
This piano arrangement was composed by Belgian composer Paul Gilson. This piano solo version is based on the figure skating music used in Meryl Davis & Charlie White's free dance at Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics.

As far as I know, "Scheherazade" Op.35 is a masterpiece that has four movements and lasts about one hour. The first part is "The Sea and Sinbad's Ship", the second part is "The Kalendar Prince", the third part is "The Young Prince and The Young Princess", and the fourth part is "Festival at Baghdad", all of which are very moving suites. Your greatl performance is dynamic and thoughtful, and we can listen to all the musical compositions using just the piano.
