However, the lake of fire used in the verse above is symbolic, standing for how those things will be destroyed forever as though burnt completely in fire forever. The things said to have been dumped into the lake of fire includes; death, grace etc. These things cannot be burnt literally. The only thing God will do to sinners and wicked people is to removed them from the earth-destroy them completely and forever- they seizing to exist (Proverbs 2: 21:22, Psalm 37:9-11 & 38, John 3:16). God does not even desire that anyone be destroyed in the first place. It is his pleasure that everyone turns to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). But unfortunately, he has no choice than to remove them. And so HELL is not a literal place where God will burn sinners forever but the common grave of all mankind.
