I loved her finale performance & enjoyed listening to how encouraging she was with the contestants, but I felt the producers did all they could to make people misunderstand her.
Katy Perry has been the heart of American Idol for the last seven years. She will definitely be missed. The rapport that all three judges had was magical. I would love to see Paula Abdul return as the new judge, who also was the heart of American Idol during her years on the show.
Good riddance ... now if she would only take the other three with her and shut the stupid series down, because AI hasn't been relevant in at least 8 yrs.
