I went recently, and there was a lot of construction work. At times it did ruin the look and the “Disney magic” but other times it was easily overlooked. Overall we had a great time but I think it would have been better for Disney to do construction work bit by bit rather than all at once, or like you say, maybe a price reduction.
The construction is unfortunate, but most of it is sadly necessary... like in Fantasyland, I think that's the last bit of roofing work (due to leaks and tiles falling off). Sadly sometimes it feels like DLP let maintenance slide until stuff gets really bad, like the crumbling castle bridge (when they just refurbed the castle for the 30th anniversary). I've also noticed recently the ugly orange-brown water stain on the waterfall around Dumbo, would it be so hard to get a crew to give it a scrub or pressure wash every now and then? They have the most beautiful and detailed castle park, it just needs to be regularly cleaned and maintained...
Very good points. We paid a lot of money to stay onsite for 6 days, in what ended up feeling like a building site a lot of the time. Maybe there should be a price reduction.....or at least get your imagineers to cover all the hoardings in amazing artwork. It's not like Disney can't afford it.
It was everywhere, but we still had a great time with the family
Yeah totally agree. We had shocking weather too, but it's what you make of it. We just got on with it and had a lovely time 😍

Totally agree! They should have done it in phases.....or reduce the costs until it's completed!
