I can't seem to shake the feeling that Dave Chappelle doesn't even realize how much the world truly loves him. I feel like he thinks fans just see him as any other celebrity. Dave is literally the only comedian that can bring people together, make light out negativity, and have people feeling better about life. His level of seriousness, humor, and humility in comedy is perfect. We love you Dave! Never Change!

Theo I think he has a healthy balance and understanding of the situation. People are people. I don't think that he forgot that everyone called him a crackhead when he went to Africa, at the same time, it doesn't seem like he holds it over people's heads.

I love Chappelle. My brother and I used to watch Chappelle's show and cry with laughter. He introduced me to Chappelle. When my brother passed when I was 14, watching things like that made me feel better. Gave me a way to laugh and think about good times.

100% always wishing that for all human beings. If we all felt this way there wouldnt be so much pain in this world. Unfortunately we all do not. As long as i am here i will love everyone in spite of their differences and when i see my fellow man down further than i am i will do what i can to help. Ive spent my life this way its how God made my heart. It did not always work but for the times it did it was glorious. I love to see people smile and i cry when they cry. Could never help any of that and even in spite of some very dark people my heart still feels the same and will never falter. Its how my heart has always beaten. Everyone be happy. Find your bliss.

The best part about these specials is there's no virtue signaling or political party pandering. Instead of leaning right or left he slices right down the middle on social commentary and it's so refreshing.

Dave Chapelle could have been famous earlier if it wasn't for people following the same kind of comedian jokes until they finally intellectually grew up. I just love the way he plays with words while still being street, I see myself many a time looking at word that he used online and marvel at where it takes me, and it feels like an open can of fizzy drink released in my brain.
The French man that I am is so grateful to speak English so that i can enjoy that American treasure that is Mr Chapelle.

I am a huge Dave Chapelle fan and I do believe he was targeted by the powers that be because he was bringing people together with his show. He's still funny but you can tell something obviously happened to him behind the scenes. It's impossible to make $60 million in netflix specials unless you have some friends in very high places.

I see alot of guests do that. They're looking at the cue cards. The cue cards let the host know how much time is left before a commercial and sometimes the guest wants to know how much time they've got to tell a story.
I believe one of his kids was back stage. I could be wring but I saw this interview when it first aired and seem to remember he said he one of his kids with him.
