Maybe, maybe not. Leon wasn’t actually rocked for that long, it’s no guarantee that Nate could’ve rushed in and finished him while also risk getting countered
Facts, Leon was dazed and if Diaz pushed ASAP after that straight hand he might have won, not 100% sure but he had a great chance.
Colby's performance was a glaring embarrassment. It seemed as though Leon was squaring off against an amateur. Colby was outmatched for four rounds, making even Nate Diaz's performance against Leon seem superior.
"The biggest stakes." Colby reminds me of Conor in that they both put themselves and their opponents under the highest pressure, convinced they could handle it better than their opponents. "He's already emotional. He's a done man." Ramping up that pressure.

you must not have watched the fight, Leon won the first two rounds by like three leg kicks and a jab each because he pushed no action. If Colby did not push action then we would have literally watched two men dance throwing leg, body kicks and jabs in a 25 min spar. Leon is the most boring fighter I have watched in a while. I think you are gonna be wrong man, but i for once actually like Colby and think it would do more for the sport if he got the title. Its hard not to feel like he should have gotten it considering how close his fights against Usman was. However Karma is not on his side for this one. Edwards looks locked in focused, not overly emotional like other people said. Its a toss up but my gut says Leon will get it done.

@@shooter2457 Colby's effort tonight was horrible. He didn't even try to fight for the first 3 rounds. It was embarrassing. Tony Ferguson looked slow and obviously needs to retire, but even Tony gave a decent effort and tried to fight. Colby just sat there for the first 3 rounds. Leon only landed a handful of strikes in those first 3 rounds and still easily won those rounds. Colby finally seemed to wake up in the 4th round and made the fight interesting. But by then he had already lost the fight so it didn't matter. Colby looked like garbage. He needs to retire if that's all he's going to do. Usually he goes hard and win, lose or draw, it's at least a good fight. Not tonight. He looked worse than Tony, who definitely needs to retire.

Big difference from Salt Lake. There are fights all the time in Vegas and it does't seem to effect anyone whereas on the Salt Lake card almost everyone struggled.

Yeah but like I said, Vegas is the most common venue for UFC fights and I’ve never seen anyone struggling with the elevation there like they did as Salt Lake. The jump from 600m to 1300m is really significant.
