Wheel chair access vehicles are bought by a multitude of people especially mountain bikers/ trials motorcycles. Camper conversions. Many low mileage and well maintained. Plenty of disabled people who don’t get motability so yeah agreed with those. Nice golf
One thing to note is when your looking at the details that are printed on the screen G3 are notorious for getting information wrong there’s loads that say NO mot but they actually have mot
Silver is my default choice on every vehicle I’ve bought for the last 20 years. I love lots of chrome work and sliver painted wheels, They look nice even when a bit dirty. 😀
Gotta be honest. I had the worst experience with G3. I won two cars and the staff told me afterwards that 1 of them had been accidentally assigned to me. And that another person had won it for £100 pound less than me. And that my bid shouldn't have gone through. Not to bad but still a mess. The second car had huge paint issues on the rear bumper that were not shown in the pictures. Overall my experience wasn't the best but I've heard from other people that the Thursday sale for the cheaper cars is worthwhile.
I had the worst experience with g3, I bought a car that was a grade 2 and on the pictures looked great and the g3 assured report was showing 30/30 no faults, upon pick up, i realised the car needed a respray in certain areas and this was not noted or even shown in the pictures, it looked like it had been previously repaired and a very poor one at that. 1 week later the engine oil light came on, which I thought is nothing to worry about, but then after a full service, the car was still showing lights on the dash. I contacted g3 but the want nothing to do with it. I would not recommend g3 unless you are looking to buy a cheap car but with lots of problems. don't be fooled by the cheap car prices!
Basically usual auction stuff mate, I always go in person to look, so at least bodywork can't surprise you, unfortunately mechanical condition can, a large % of cars in any auction are hiding terrible issues, one I bought the other day, all green on the report just came up with low oil pressure message.
I was thinking that, on a scooby, I would expect the engine to be clean atleast if not detailed. Seems the body work and the engine were from separate owners😮
I cant see that golf making £8.5k retail, on a 13 plate .the paint would need to be flawless (including respray match) and the wheels and tyres both spotless and a matching set of premium brands.
Very interesting video Joe but looks like on line bidding is squeezing margins these days so think you were wise to walk away plus auction cars usually need refurbishment. Great content and filming by Toby. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️looking forward to seeing your next production wishing you and your team a very Happy Christmas 🎄
That Impreza I believe is the SL model, hence leather and sunroof.. I’d steer clear of the 2.5 engines, they are weak! Head gasket and ringland failure are common as muck with them. Engine bay was terrible on that one 😂 Good vid, keep them coming
@@stu4181 don’t get me wrong, they’re brilliant cars and I love them to bits but I wouldn’t personally buy a 2.5 unless it’s had a rebuilt.. I’ve seen far too many fail. Ticking time bomb 💣
Just a quick question but for someone like myself starting up being a motor car trader. Should I price vehicles on what I’m selling as cap clean or retail?
The Scooby and the Elgrand would have been perfect stock and you missed out on them! You should have gone for them dude! Absolutely gutted on them mate.
Some of the prices just don't make sense? I bought my wife a Qashqai N-Tec 4x4 diesel from a local garage 4 weeks ago. 12 plate FSH in Black with 89 k on the clock for 4 Grand and they refurbed all the wheels, paint corrected it and gave a 6 month warranty. ,So how can a scuffed up Golf have the value mentioned?....
Shoreham car auctions are awash with motability cars, problem is they are only allowed to be sold to trade buyers. Does anyone know the reason for that.
Golf was a dustbin, focus is just dull and far too much money. Should have gone for the Merc or that Audi A1 or the Elgand. Need something a bit interesting not the usual rubbish

That Elgrand was cheap!! A black Rider is THE most sought after. They are cheapish to tax for a 3.5 V6. 8 seats and the rear row lifts out of the way for a huge loadspace. And who doesn’t love electric curtains and 2 tv screens?!

Good shout on the WAV's. We always try to have one at a time, don't always sell immediately because they're niche but usually a nice margin.

Aside from your experience. I do have to agree that the Thursday sale is great for getting a good deal.
You made the right choice on that golf! The focus needed to be cheaper

When they lifted the bonnet on the subaru it told a story, wasn't cared for. The rest was clean tho.

Hi newcomer to the channel. really enjoy it and a good change from all the u.s stuff on utube.hi from New Zealand 🇳🇿
I really do enjoy an auction video, this one being from my home county.
As always great video Joe❤.

Interesting auction video. Enjoy the festive period 👍🏼
As I get older Im the same love silver cars. Golf was ropey to say the least glad you didnt go for it.
Wheels on the golf must have been cleaned by Edward scissorhands
😂
Could be the camera lighting but the front wing on the subaru looked lighter than the doors.
What did you buy???
Nothing this time but luckily I'm not obliged to buy if I attend an auction
What's the box that's connected to all the cars window ? Never seen that B4, not in my days going around any auctions.
Cheers.

Hi can you explain CAP prices what does it actually mean ?
