    The amount of detail!!!! ❤️
These 3D renderings are so easy to understand. 360 view, easy explanation, options advised... what else can I ask for!! Thank you so much! I’m a woman with only corporate experience who’s planning on making my home up in the hills all by myself. Mistakes would be very expensive for me. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Do burst pipes tend to be less frequent or about the same frequency as in traditionally built homes? In a cob home, do you have to take the same level of precaution to prevent pipes freezing, or no?

Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge about cob building. I have been watching your videos among others. Yours are very helpful in technical issues. That is a very helpful for me as I am planning to build a cob house (Spanish/andalusian / Moroccan style) next year in Morocco together with designing a regenerative/permaculture small farm of about 2 Hectars...As my budget is very limited, I will do a lot of work by myself ...once again thanks for sharing your knowledge about cob building

Do we build the cob and at the same time add electrical and piping, or do we wait for the cob to dry and once its finished then we add pipes etc?

awesome examples. How would you finish a stick frame wall with a more natural material? if you wanted to stay away from dry wall

Put wooden battens or chicken wire over the stick frames, and then apply a natural plaster.

I think copper pipes exposed would look really lovely and it seriously wouldn't need to be hidden away. An industrial look just means it's easier to access and it is just easier on maintenance. I mean simple is the best way to do things....

OK, you run the water pipe below the frost line, but it has to go up to get into the house. Is the part that comes up through the frost line just too small to freeze? Or- can you wrap it with insulation to keep it from freezing?
    P.S. Good video!

I think you could wrap it with insulation. That might be a good idea!

You need to find a general contractor who has a building team. I will train that team to build it for you.

I like the videos. Where can I buy large amounts of clay to build a cob house? Are there different types of clay that work better than others?
Im trying to get to a place financially to hire you guys. Are there characteristics of properties that work better for cob houses that I should look for? I live in the Texas Hill country, fyi. Thanks for the videos. I enjoy them every time

You can buy subsoil at most gardening/landscape centers, or get it from your own property. Only need about 20% clay content in the soil.
Rural counties are still best for cob building. Easier to get/or bypass permissions/codes. There is a cob code for 2021 though if you want to go the other route.

In FL they run the water through the attic. If there is a leak you don't have to jackhammer the foundation. The water is pretty hot in the summer though.
