I wouldn't say mystified I mean he's got 50k subscribers so whatever investment he makes into the game he can make back with his yt which allows him to keep investing into the next set and so on. Im pretty sure every yugituber wishes they were that fortunate
One thing i use on this deck is the psychic reflector engine. Its easy to special summon with either one for one or emergency teleport and its a quick way to a level 9 synchro, plus, i could go for powertool braver dragon to bring the durandal and cursed bamboo sword and, if i'm feeling bold, that one mikanko equip that special summon a mikanko monster by bouncing back the equipped monster, which gives me another chance to summon braver and redo the combo later

Yeah it's much easier with Phoenix blade but unfortunately we don't have it and have to play the bamboo package, until Phoenix Gearblade comes out at least, which makes it a bit better.
You may aswell only 2 urs needed to complete the deck the rest of the support is Sr or lower. You can add in sinful spoils engine though as it can help play through interruption but not necessary

Can we raise some awareness to the fact that the shien lock combo works.. but shien doesn't work. I have gameplay of my opponent using any spell card they want while shien is on the field.
I wish that we were able to see more of this deck in difficult situations, like the first duel. After that, it's just going first, set up an unbreakable board, and profit. How well does it run going second? Can it play through interruptions? That sort of thing.
Why...? Immortal Phoenix Gearfried already does what Braver Dragon would be used for, and doesn't cost you a Tuner that would be used to get you to Charles.

Me and my friend were struggling with starting the combo. Didn't think of playing Artorigus to extend. Makes this so much better

Kinda yes. You get a second chance if imper hits too early and also it's not rare to get Kashtira to ban one.

its spell / trap negating effect is soft OPT, so controlling 2 copies gives you 2 activatable interruptions
2 Charles on board is 3 interruptions
