Bc they made plans out loud a ghost/ spirit came to take her instead. So she got sick and died, but she kept coming back to her little town and kept waiting on him to come back as promised. She scared so many of the villagers so everyone moved away. He finally comes and had no idea she died. Night time comes and she turns into her ghost form. He started seeing the signs and got scared. I don’t remember the ending anymore tho lol it’s been too long.
