I used to collect Hot Wheels cars when I was a very smol kid and remember that in some of them it was written _"Made in Malaysia"_ in the bottom and then 5 or 6 year old me became obsessed with the country's name and flag lol this is silly but it was somewhat nostalgic also loving this video and very aesthetic background fren

I really like listening to Malay speaking, because it feels and sounds softer than Indonesian. It reminded me of my families on Sumatera too, they talk with a similar accent to Malay.

To any foreigner who never heard of this language... there are actually traditional, formal and informal type for it or we called it as "bahasa baku" ,"bahasa rasmi", "bahasa pasar". Claree kinda mix it all which is actually how most of us use it 😂 fully traditional and formal type of Malay usually we use only it on certain occasion or event but for daily life we kinda mix it all with english words too.

Semenanjung have many varieties of Malay themselves, so don't think that we all talk the same. not at all. almost all states have their own dialect. the one that you know is the standard modern Malay. of course as a country we can't talk too different from one another, we need the standard one so we can communicate well with each other.

I'm a Filipino and I know some of our words are borrowed words from neighbouring countries, but it is just so weird hearing familiar words that I know is defined differently in Malaysian. But one thing though, I'm definitely sure we define this the same, "Salamat sa tingles Clairee" 👌

I feel like malay and the indian language is similar with each other. Like the way the words are pronounced. The tone the two languages have when they speak english is also pretty similar IMO. Do you guys also think so? Is it just me? Or is it really true or what
i think you mean indonesian instead of indian (not sure) but yeah it is a fact
Not really if you live in both community. There's some loan words in Malay from Sanskrit but overall the languages aren't too similar
