Black women are the most beautiful in the world. I tell you the truth : Black is beautiful, Black is realy beautiful. The Lord gave too much beauty to the black woman
Your hair looks to have ALWAYS been healthy , permed or natural. U have a beautiful head of hair!! With this video people can c that it don't matter if u choose to b permed, texturized, texlaxed or natural, u gotta take care of your hair for it to thrive. Beautiful grl🙂
I just wanna say this is one of the best journey videos I've seen bc you still took care of your relaxed hair. So many women thought hair care ended with a relaxer so they still neglected their hair. It's so nice to see that either way you kept your hair very healthy and I loved every style you rocked!
It's funny how people are trying to tell her what her hair type is...also keep in mind ur texture changes as ur hair gets longer bc the hair is heavier...I am 3c/4a at the length my hair is now....but when my hair as longer the curl pattern could appear looser sometimes. I think hair typing should be personal to the person...it's not for someone else to decide.
They're just trying to keep her well informed . . . Nothing wrong with that. And yes, although curl texture changes, her hair does seem to be a 3C/4A. It's a moment of observation and there's nothing wrong with informing a person about it, especially when they'll benefit from it in the end.
Oh no, I dont have a problem when people guess. I was specifically talking about the people who left comments like "your hair isnt this type...its that type" or "you do not have this type of hair"...I just dont think its for other people to TELL YOU whether you are correct or incorrect as what you choose to define on yourself.
I just made the decision to transition.....for the 2nd time. I tried 3 years ago and became impatient. And my hair was short then... so duh me. I've had my hair relaxed since I was 10 yrs old and I have NO IDEA what my natural hair looks like. But I'm doing it. Thanks for sharing your journey.
I also Big Chopped December, 2014. 12/31/14 to be exact. My 2 year Anniversary is just days away. It was the best decision I could've made. Great video!
Finally someone w the same exact hair texture as mine I see I am a solid 4a. Ur hair was beautiful relaxed but is freaking awesome natural. I'm thinking of cutting my dreads and keeping a curly style like urs except my hair is super thin.
Hi my dear! really enjoyed your video and your hair is beautiful! just subscribed:D! Ohhh !! I also love natural hair! I think its fun and btw I have shared some of my fav styles too!!
New subbie! Thank you for sharing your journey. You are beautiful BTW and I loved your honesty about your transitioning phase. I've been transitioning with protective styling and will big chop next month around 11 months post relaxer, please pray for me lol-anxious is not even the word.
Your hair is beautiful! I am transitioning right now. I got my last relaxer in February of this year. The struggle is real, but I am getting used to it and love seeing my curls starting to pop :)
Meet The Chambers omg your profile pic the cutest thing ever but that is awesome! I was super excited when I first start to see my curls. I'll be sure to subscribe to your channel. I would love to see your hair journey!
First, your hair is gorgeous natural or relaxed! 🤗 Now, I am in the transitioning stage and just had some of my ends trimmed last month. I had/have hair just like you, long and thick (when relaxed), cut it and it grows back, etc. We have about the same curl pattern/texture and I would like to know your daily routines and products used for your hair. I'm so used to long, straight, and confined hair that this driving me insane, lol! But I would love some of your extra tips of how you manage yours, please and thank you. Beautiful video! 😬
Hi Love! Thanks for watching my video and commenting!!!! Glad we are hair twins!!!! I'm not a big product junky so I don't have tons of products I use. I LOVE Tresemme's moisturizing natural conditioner. It has great slip to detangle and leaves my hair sooo soft. The products I use to moisturize are shea moistures hair milk, Shea Moisture Curly Enhancing Smoothie, or Camille Rose Hair Milk. I deep condition & condition with Garnier Fructise Triple Nutrition Curly line (my hair loves that stuff & it makes my hair so moisturized, soft, & even helps w/ detangling). I cowash with it too. Far as shampoos I'm not really that picky since I don't shampoo that often but co-wash more. Far as styling products for like when I do my wash & go's I use either Camille Rose the Curl Maker or Kinky Curly's Curling Custard. Hope this helps you girly. Also, Loreal has this Extreme Sleek condition that my hair loves too. As you can see I'm big on conditioners lol because I use them to co-wash, detangle, condition, & deep condition. They set my hair for my wash & go's. If you buy any of these let me know how you like them :).
Great! I use Shea Moisture (shampoo, conditioner, and cream) and tea tree as well. I will definitely make my way to purchase the Tresemme' and Camille Rose Hair Milk, because I love the way it made your hair (wash n go) look!!! Thank you so much for your response and being so informative!!! I followed your page on IG as well ..my IG: @makierasaneen_ and I will be looking forward to more videos :)
Love this video! I am just barely starting my natural journey, 4 weeks since my last relaxer! Not long, I know lol!! But I'm so excited for what's to come :) your hair looks amazing!!!!!!
You had very pretty relaxed hair, some people have horror stories (I never had one)but it looked great. But nothing compared to your beautiful natural hair! I love the twa phase lol
RyanneCiara Hill u think so? I thought it was 4a mostly from the videos I saw of other women who said they had 4a hair. the hair type system is so confusing lol
OhSoNaturally 1 I make sure not to make multiple passes when putting the flat iron too it & make sure the temperature isn't too high. Thanks for watching
i love your hair very pretty do u think the wash and go is one of the easiest protective styles? i just started wearing my naturl hair out and i find myself having to so my hair twice a week im looking for a style that will last at least 1 week
latasha roland sorry I'm late but I love wash & go's because mine last for a full 7 days...it took me a while to get a good wash & go routine but once u do its super easy
ChillinLikeAPill of course...I have to wait a little though because I just straightened it a few weeks ago & scared to over heat my hair😣. Thank u for watching though & I'll make that video specifically for u 😊
I haven't gotten my hair done regularly in over ten years, perm or blow dry (no perm/ blow out )Can you tell me why, post perm,do all the ladies need to chop hair to go natural?Oh,only the new growth will texturize, the ends stay hopelessly straight? After a while won't all the hair be new growth texture ?
Monique Palmer hey girly....u don't have to big chop you can just transition until all the relaxer is out however if u are impatient like me some just decide to big chop to get the perm out all at once & just start from scratch. I technically didn't have to cut my hair that short when I big chopped I just did that because I really wanted to see what I looked like with a low cut
I have been natural all my life no color,no perm haven't blow dryed or straightening in years but my hair has never gone past my shoulders. Any Advice?
The Real World do you clip your ends in a timely manner? and what products are you using to moisturize? trimming your ends & moisturizing your hair is key to growth
I'm 6 months into my transduction and experience breakage at the line of separation. Any tips on how to drag with that and detangle your relaxed/natural hair after shampooing? Had a lot of kinks in it last weekend. Gonna get another protective style and big chop over the summer.
Rachel D. I always detangled with A LOT of conditioner in my hair (I think tresemme moisture conditioner is the best detangling conditioner that is cheap) and used a wide tooth shower comb & did it in for sections. the more slip you have from the conditioner the easier it is to detangle. hope this helps
Yess! my hair does not like shampoo, it feels stripped. Recently tried the cream of nature conditioning shampoo and conditioner. I'm gonna get another protective style and big chop by the summer anyway so I'm not to worried about the length/breakage.
I prefer my hair bone straight or blowed out...I'm able to see my dead ends better & ensure it's even. With a twist out you run the risk of cutting it uneven
your hair can't be 4b 4c you hAve way too much curl for that looks more 4a or a blend of 3c 4a, because when you get to the 4b 4c range you don't really have a defined curl pattern
Brooke Melton you can go longer without clipping you ends when natural but you DEFINITELY want to clip them so your curls are healthy. & u can tell when u need to when your natural because your hair is more tangly & hard to detangle
love your curls! Yeah i think your hair is 3c cause I'm a mixture of 3c and 4a and my curls are tighter than yours in my 4a areas. I just subbed. I hope you can check out my channel as well :)

Sebenzile Maseko haha I do get scissor happy!!!!
Sebenzile Maseko That's why she cuts it. She knows she has the kind of hair that grows!
Her hair GROWS because she cuts it.
Your hair looks to have ALWAYS been healthy , permed or natural. U have a beautiful head of hair!! With this video people can c that it don't matter if u choose to b permed, texturized, texlaxed or natural, u gotta take care of your hair for it to thrive. Beautiful grl🙂

Kayla Williams lol thank u. you can have healthy relax hair too as long as you take care of it
I just wanna say this is one of the best journey videos I've seen bc you still took care of your relaxed hair. So many women thought hair care ended with a relaxer so they still neglected their hair.
Michelle Rodgers yeah mine is changing now as it grows
Hey Michelle check out my natural hair journey! I am 3b/3c :)
They're just trying to keep her well informed . . . Nothing wrong with that. And yes, although curl texture changes, her hair does seem to be a 3C/4A. It's a moment of observation and there's nothing wrong with informing a person about it, especially when they'll benefit from it in the end.
Michelle Rodgers why do u care if they try to guess the type??
Oh no, I dont have a problem when people guess. I was specifically talking about the people who left comments like "your hair isnt this type...its that type" or "you do not have this type of hair"...I just dont think its for other people to TELL YOU whether you are correct or incorrect as what you choose to define on yourself.
What a seemingly effortless journey. Your hair is beautiful. Genetics are a thing people. 😊
Your hair is beautiful relaxed and natural
Janine Jones thanks boo
Beautifully archived. Great vid. Love the hair. Well done.
I just made the decision to transition.....for the 2nd time. I tried 3 years ago and became impatient. And my hair was short then... so duh me.
I've had my hair relaxed since I was 10 yrs old and I have NO IDEA what my natural hair looks like. But I'm doing it.

I loved this!!! I am still debating on whether or not to do this kind of video because i literally have NO pictures of me before i went natural.
You should still do one even if you don't have a lot of pics. It could be just you describing your experience :)
Your hair always looked healthy. Nice
New subbie! Thank you for sharing your journey. You are beautiful BTW and I loved your honesty about your transitioning phase. I've been transitioning with protective styling and will big chop next month around 11 months post relaxer, please pray for me lol-anxious is not even the word.

OhSoNaturally 1 I make sure not to make multiple passes when putting the flat iron too it & make sure the temperature isn't too high. Thanks for watching

What do you use to straighten your hair?
TFS!! great video ~ enjoyed 🤗 #newlynatural #newbee I big chopped 9/21/16 ☺
coily kurlz thanks for subscribing
I haven't gotten my hair done regularly in over ten years, perm or blow dry (no perm/ blow out )Can you tell me why, post perm,do all the ladies need to chop hair to go natural?Oh,only the new growth will texturize, the ends stay hopelessly straight? After a while won't all the hair be new growth texture ?

The Real World do you clip your ends in a timely manner? and what products are you using to moisturize? trimming your ends & moisturizing your hair is key to growth
Great video. Are you from NY?
Nish Amor no from ohio...do I sound like I have a NY accent? lol
Lol I knew you would say no I couldn't tell the accent. But the way you dressed in HS looks like how we did when I was in HS too Here in NY.
I'm 6 months into my transduction and experience breakage at the line of separation. Any tips on how to drag with that and detangle your relaxed/natural hair after shampooing? Had a lot of kinks in it last weekend. Gonna get another protective style and big chop over the summer.

What products did you use throughout your hair journey?
Hey Love! Do you mean my journey transitioning from relaxed to curly or once I did my big chop?
Once you did your big chop. :) I'm trying to test out different products since I did the big chop about a month ago.
does anyone know the name of the music playing in the background ?
Gorgeous head of hair!!! but her hair looks like 3b or 3c .... no where in the 4's!
Candy Butler lol thanks for the info....all this time thought I had 4a
Candy Butler idk what I have then. My hair is like this and I've been calling it 4c lol
BeautyByCursha so u don't know your hair... idiot
Your hair is so pretty
You are so beautiful
Lexi Lomax awww *blushes* thank youuuu
what heat protector do you use?
Audrey Crusoe tresemme....the one in the black & red bottle
you transitioned for a yr but when u big chopped your was really short. why?
Simply Shaye because my natural hair that grew in had heat damage from straighting it the full year i transitioned so I decided to cut it really short
BeautyByCursha makes sense
, ⚠️⚠️⚠️You don't have to straighten your to clip your ends just to a twist out.
I prefer my hair bone straight or blowed out...I'm able to see my dead ends better & ensure it's even. With a twist out you run the risk of cutting it uneven
BeautyByCursha OK then, do you boo. I'm way to scared of heat damaged to straighten my hair.
OMGGGGGGGGGG
3a-3c*
Where did you buy your clip ins !? Like the brand too
Coolkid Nita hey! They're called Euronex I believe from Sallys. thanks for watching!
your hair can't be 4b 4c you hAve way too much curl for that looks more 4a or a blend of 3c 4a, because when you get to the 4b 4c range you don't really have a defined curl pattern
miss breezy yea I've been getting a lot of comments that I'm 3c I thought I was for sure 4A
***** yeah your hair is very similar to mine that's why I say that
TFS your hair is so kahyute short!!!
Thanks love
I heard there no reason to clip ends when you natural
Brooke Melton you can go longer without clipping you ends when natural but you DEFINITELY want to clip them so your curls are healthy. & u can tell when u need to when your natural because your hair is more tangly & hard to detangle
love your curls! Yeah i think your hair is 3c cause I'm a mixture of 3c and 4a and my curls are tighter than yours in my 4a areas. I just subbed. I hope you can check out my channel as well :)
You could’ve done the chop a year ago
Everytime she straightened her hair, she loosens her curl pattern.
Robin Ayers Nah, she just looser good hair. Stop making excuses.
5:32 there was something in your ear
Lol that was probably ear wax
Your hair is leaning to the 3c area
You think so?....Imits more 3c at the very top of my hair but everywhere else seems more coily than curly
You are so beautiful
