I don´t know if you are supposed to just listen to these types of videos but I definitely watched the whole thing 😅and now I want to teleport myself back to the 90´s... I was a kid back then, the nostalgia is wild.
The fact the catalogue has been kept all this time. And in pristine condition..wow! Pre-web artefacts like these which are disposable, are gold now as you would have to go to a library archive or museum to see one. For me to reminisce, for others to understand the way things were (not so long ago)... Bean bag chair!! I failed to stay fully awake tho. For me your vids are a sleep aid equivalent of a weighted blanket... But I'm also interested in the content, in fact your entire lifestyle and interests. I'm not a spring chicken any more...
Beanbag chair! I was born in ‘93 - it was cool to see all the new stuff that came out that year, and how everything has kind of evolved from 29 years ago haha!
Fascinating to see my childhood in a magazine. I was 7 or so. Beanbag chair! Almost didnt make until I saw the toys and they woke me up. I cant think of anything I wished i had but didnt get.
I’ve been watching your channel since the polaroid land camera days, and I always get so happy and nostalgic hearing your stories in these videos, keep on being yourself, we will always be happy to see you post :)
I was born in '93 in Portugal and this is super interesting to watch! My teacher, back in the late 90s, used to dress like some of these models in the catalog!
Hiya! My Dad always kept magnifying glasses around the house and used them with the newspaper! Very relaxing video, thank you 🌺 edit: if you have any TV guides I'd request a video for a flip through! This is all so nostalgic 😊Take care
Hello! I know this is going to sound a bit odd, but I just want to say that I’ve been enjoying your videos for years since you first started. Coincidently, this was right around the same time that I stopped speaking to my dad. In a weird way, I’ve always got “dad vibes” from your vibes and they’ve brought me a weird sense of comfort over the years. Keep being awesome and thank you for the amazing videos!
In 1993 i was in my mid 20s. An amazing gift would've been a whole PC setup. Cool gadgets, cordless phone, camcorder, stereo system. Love the beautiful catalog models.
They do still do Holiday Barbies! My grandmother gave me two when I was young and a couple years ago I started collecting. I actually have the 1993 one featured in this magazine :) It makes me happy to collect them because I remember it was my grandmother who started it. She thought they would be worth something someday (they are definitely not lol) so she told me to hold on to them. 20 years later, realizing they were just sitting there, kind of useless, I decided to open them up and put them on a shelf. Now I have a growing collection!
So good to have new catalogue videos. These have always been my favourites on your channel. Thank you! 😊 Do you have any plans for new 'this or that' videos? Those are my absolute favourites!
This brought back so many memories ❤️ I used to love going through the catalogs with my Nana looking at gifts and picking stuff out. Thank you for a wonderful video.
Wait a minute. I married that $34 girl at 5:28 back in 1993. Okay well not exactly that girl, but close enough. Now I remember why! A lot of water under the bridge between then and now - but here we still are together after all that time, and now with a grandchild on the way! And wifey still looks good in pictures too! (Me - maybe not as much haha.)
I remember those LEGO sets. I became a teenager in the 90's and always wanted one of those pirate ship sets. Very expensive they were. Oh, and those beanbag chairs...
Oh man, that engine definitely had a lot of blood, sweat, and tears put into it. I just know that Mercury was a fun car to be in. Thank you for sharing that piece of your history with us! I love cars especially the old carbureted engines.
He eventually put a supercharger on that engine, of course the hood would not close after that so he ended up adding side-draft air filters just so the hood would close.
14:33 I had that Mickey Mouse watch as my first watch as a boy around the time of the catalog. I still have it and am passing it down to my son now as his first watch.
52:34 The track on the top right. Im pretty sure i had that one, or one of the next models. I still have the track around and the cars. Theyre pretty cool
I had a Teddy Ruxpin, but I remember I spilled something on his face and I got scared I'd get in trouble. So I decided using a blow dryer would do the trick, but I just ended up burning the fur off his face. He ended up looking like a terminator teddy ruxpin.
The computer pages were hilarious because 1993 was the year I got my first computer for university. It was SO expensive for the 240 MB drive and I paid a couple of hundreds to upgrade the RAM from 4 MB to 8 MB. But it was black so that was cool! LOL
The sport section is similar to Britain only we would just have LOADS of Football teams and Rugby Cricket and Motorsport :) I think kids of a certain age dress differently but under tens kind still dress the same :)
I don´t know if you are supposed to just listen to these types of videos but I definitely watched the whole thing 😅and now I want to teleport myself back to the 90´s... I was a kid back then, the nostalgia is wild.
The best times kids today will never know
💯
A double whammy of warm, rosy nostalgia from my childhood and ASMR. Top notch.
I'm 41 and remember looking through these Christmas catalogs every year. Good times. Good video, thanks

Awesome idea!
Omg, watching this literally and instantly brought the smell of the catalogue back to me!!!! My childhood 😩😩😩😩
This type of clothing has come full circle and we are now dressing this way again. So cool !!!
I liked a lot of those fashions. Good to know it's coming back around.
After driving from Matthews, MO to Laredo TX ,,(997 miles) I needed a video like this to relax and sleep well... Thank you so much #RelaxingASMR
Bean bag chair!
Born in 1985 and love all your videos but this one is truly going to be a Christmas tradition now. Thank you!

Awesome. I'm 41 and remember going through these with my grandma at Christmas time.
I graduated high school in 1993. Such a joy to look through this with you. 😊
In 1993 i was in my mid 20s. An amazing gift would've been a whole PC setup. Cool gadgets, cordless phone, camcorder, stereo system. Love the beautiful catalog models.
Nostalgia at its finest for me, I was 6 years old in 93 and would go back to this era anytime! Thanks for the refreshing video my friend
Love these catalog flip throughs!

Missed seeing the catalog videos. Glad to see another upload, keep up the amazing work!
I remember those LEGO sets. I became a teenager in the 90's and always wanted one of those pirate ship sets. Very expensive they were.
Oh, and those beanbag chairs...
The year I was born! 😁 This is such a comforting and nostalgic video. Makes me think of my moms clothes, ever the fashion icon.
I love these catalogs, I get so excited to see a new one!
It took me 3 attempts, but I made it all the way through. I had to relive the nostalgia of going through this catalog.

I LOVE when you do this! Thanks for the Early Christmas present!
I’ll watch this but I’ll feel sad. Such nice 90s outfits you can’t get anymore.

these are my favorites of yours 🥰
The 1993 JCP Christmas Catalog could very well be called Attack of the Shoulder Pads.
uh, Shoulder Pads were an 80s thing.
Hello from italy. You are the best !!!!!!!
The sport section is similar to Britain only we would just have LOADS of Football teams and Rugby Cricket and Motorsport :) I think kids of a certain age dress differently but under tens kind still dress the same :)
Beanbag chair! :)

15:25 I have that mirror at the very bottom left. My grandma used it, then my mom, and now me. It's all yellow and gross
I need to know more about these telescopes! Why are the department store scopes so bad? Where DO we buy good telescopes? How do you even telescope?!?!
Always good.
I was 28 in1993. The clothes? Tacky. The hair? Granny.
I had a bean bag chair!
I'm afraid Barney went the way of the dinosaur.
How’s your dog? I watched you since your photos ASMR 5 years ago and I’ve been wondering how he’s been since
Thanks for asking. He's been gone now since March 2020. Miss the little guy.
Skipped right over the model trains!
