He is one of my favorite people. I love when he makes little jokes to help us to understand how ridiculous we are being. This should be mandatory reading in highschool. Oprah's school uses certain chapters as mandatory reading. So grateful for Micheal s teachings. I know finding him was not an accident I was guided by my higher power by source. Thank you Mr. Singer🙏🙏👏👏

This is so true. It's coming to a Spiritual psychology understanding that we seek inwardly to learn, know, and understand that self inflicted suffering is a not the true reality of our worldview.
    HalleluYah!!!

Agree. There is something of a spiritual jump over implied in what MS says here. Basic financial security, especially in America is a realistic concern not “grasping” .

hmmm... I guess that's why my daughter urged me to take autism tests... as I have a hard time remembering the outer environment is there... Could spend thousands of years inside. I think I actually have to get out of my head and remember to attend the outer environment and find it helps create positive energy, like Feng shui, yoga etc. perhaps neurotypicals are the opposite so we clearly need balance. One comment a lady boasted she can be happy no matter what... I assume this person hasn't come close to the trials set before her. Life allows nobody to be happy, no matter what. Even if you stay attuned and live from the inside out, life will bring you pain. Again and again, even if it has to be in the form of you being helpless as you watch someone you love suffer a slow painful death, we are here to be tested and to grow, you can't do that by only seeking happiness.

I love being in my head too, but I've learnt that some of that is maladaptive daydreaming combined with creating mental scenarios that give me dopamine hits.
Healing the trauma of growing up in a world that shuns and deliberately ostracizes neurodivergent brains like autistics or ADHD or AuDHD (not that they're the limit to what is neurodivergent) can be a long slow process since it starts when we're babies.
Autistic and highly sensitive persons (HSP) have a harder time hmm filtering? Or maybe just have greater capacity for external stimuli to come in so that can contribute greatly to disassociation of the mind/body and maladaptive daydream but before that happened we experience the world with greater clarity and enrichment.
We do need more downtime, rest time, quiet time because of this, and the fact our brains process more constantly in comparison to neurotypicas.
As for being happy no matter what, I'd have to agree, being constantly happy with zero deviation is definitely a bad thing and they're swishing atuff under the rug that's going to fester and rot then catch up to them at somepoint down the track.

What if the outer environment is abusive? How can I focus on the inner environment when words like “mental” or “brain dead” are being said to me?

Unfortunately this didn't tell me how to stop suffering, it told my why I suffer. My external environment isn't supporting my internal environment. It gave no clue how to match the two together. Misleading caption for the video. A better one in my opinion is "Why we suffer" not how to end suffering. Thanks for the video still

the problem is this is an evaluation of us as inner beings. who knows maybe we're all connected and aware :) has someone got statistics? how do you measure enlightenment? by behaviour? then you judge the behaviour rather than be with it. I agree with him totally just notice when he says "most" it generalizes rather than be specific

However Michael Singer developed Medical Manager, which marketed software that helped doctors manage their patient and billing records. Medical Manager was taken public in 1997, registering $45 million in stock. Remember that they don't always practice what they preach 🤨

I generally agree with him, but Singer makes it seem sometimes as if there is absolutely no link between what happen externally and what happens internally. Which is not true, unless you are completely enlightened, liberated and one with all Life.

Um obviously if I’m lonely, I’ll look to be with other people, if I’m broke, I’ll go to make money, if I’m hungry I’ll eat 🙈. How is this any advice!
People are built to be together, yes have some solitude, but look at Jesus- he always had people around Him!
    Get a grip dude ✌🏼

lol Jesus was sick o them and always trying to hide. The amount of times he wanted to be alone and was followed, reread the texts... balance, duh
