James i know this sounds crazy..but can you please redo this video. But going step by step. I'm lost when i try to fit it in the youtube upload section. None of my UA-cam viewing sources do anything. Example..viewing banner on TV OR cell PHONES, or TV. I FIT MY BANNER PERFECTLY IN THE MIDDLE ONE THAT SAYS ALL DEVICES. BUT IT DOESN'T FILL IN ACROSS THE TOP OF MY CHANNEL PAGE. I HAVE BLACK BOXES ON EACH SIDE OF THE BANNER. Any help or suggestions id consider a real BLESSING. THANK YOU
Not James, but happened by your comment while researching Canva and I think I can help; You want your banner to fit in the biggest sized box because that guarantees there will be no areas left empty when viewed on different devices. It sounds like you only put it in the smallest box, in which it will only display correctly on mobile and leave blank areas on the sides on desktop, and then leave blank areas on both sides and top/bottom on TV. Mainly you just want to make sure the most important parts of your banner are in the smallest area so things don't get cut off on mobile, but you want it to fill all areas. The minimum size to do this is 2048 x 1152.
I don't understand why Canva doesn't have templates for just that rectangular area. It does not seem like it would be that hard to do. Otherwise, good video and you helped solve an issue many people have with the Canva UA-cam Banner Templates. They don't work really well for the rectangular area (desktop), just the TV area.
Straight to the point and effective! Thanks for sharing! Finally created my banner 🎉
You are very welcome! 🏝

It seems most Utube channels use their own original downloaded pictures for Banners etc?😮
