Should offer cradles pre-notched, have people send you their old cradles for a precut. Would love to K-swap one of these but suck at wealding. lol (The end of your vid answered my first question.)
I have 2 84-87 kfiero cradles on hand. Both aren't powdercoated, just modified. I'd do then on exchange but, shipping would be expensive nowadays.
@@BVM03 every freaking thing is inflated nowadays. A guy is selling a v6 2M4 88 Feiro for $20 down the road fully intact, he doesn't know if it runs bought it as a project.
Are you guys currently producing and selling these mounting kits?
very interesting, are you working on mounts with a K24/auto trans as well
If I had an AUTO trans (really just an empty case), I could make mounts for that no problem.
@@BVM03 I am curious if you ever finished the midplate. I think it along with the front motor mount would make an K24/auto work and i would only need to make the transmount
You still selling motor mount kit ? I have an 87 fiero and want to put a k24. What do you do for axles ?
Mounts are going back into production. Axles are made by DSS (driveshaft shop). Info for the 5 and 6 speed axles as well as current mount production is at kFiero on facebook.
I've decided to do a kswap in my fiero. Started researching and found your channel. I havnt watched all your videos yet so you may have answered my question already. But what transmission did you use? I'm thinking about using the original fierro 4 speed. If so did you find an adaptor plate or custom build one?
I used a Honda transmission in both of my kswaps. Using the stock fiero trans was never a consideration on my part.
@@BVM03 ok I've been going back and fourth on it . Thought if I could find an adapter plate I would stick with the fierro trans if not I would go with a honda trans.

How much different is the 88 cradle mods ? I have a 88....I'm tempted....
Pretty much the same with the exception of the rear (trunk side). I would need to get my hands on a stock 88 cradle to make another. On my sons it uses the factory trans mount and mount location with a custom bracket.
What did you do with the cvs and the hubs?
I used custom axles from the Drive Shaft Shop. Cost about $1300. You can now order them directly for 5 or 6 speed k swapped Fiero.
