Kelly, never give up!!! Keep fighting along with your son, I've been there. My son had 4th stage throat cancer at 31 yrs old, he was in the Army in Korea at the time. He went through 27 hours of surgery many chemo and radiation treatments. He survived after being give only a 20 percent chance of survival. Through much prayer, alot of faith, and his never give up attitude he survived. Praying for strength and healing for your son . It's been the toughest thing I have ever had to watch my child go through,but don't give up!!!!! GODgive you all strength
A mass was said for Ray and his family this morning in my local church. They have also been added to our prayer circle. May the good Lord give you the strength you need. God Bless you all.
My mom had 12 different kinds of cancer. She kept such a positive attitude she lived longer than any of her 12 doctors ever expected over 17 years actually. They all said she did better than any patient they've ever had just because of her positive attitude and her faith. They called it a miracle. Even a preacher that came to visit and to pray for her, after talking to her broke down and asked her to pray for him because he had felt so lost in comforting those who were in her situation. Her attitude and faith amazed him. She always said cancer was nothing to be afraid of because it could not kill her because there's no cancer in heaven. She said her body might give out but her soul would live on because Jesus was her Lord and He died so she could live. She looked forward and did not dwell on being sad or on anything negative. She just simply continue to live her life and maintain her relationship with the Lord. Jesus said to cast ALL your cares on Him. See worrying is not our job it never was. He made the promise to take care of us even in our worst and scariest of times. He never said we would never have trials but He did promise to never leave us nor forsake us in those times. Keep praying, keep faith, and keep living positive. That's where your strength will grow and your fear will vanish. Let the Lord be your strength. God bless you, your son, and your family.

I had cancer in my 20s and the worst part of it was seeing my family scared, worried, and in pain because of me. Please stay positive around your son. It may seem insensitive to be joyful when you're around him, but joy is contagious and he really needs it. 💜
Angel, thank you for sharing this perspective. It's really hard for me to be normal/happy around my daughter who was diagnosed with cancer in her eye less than year ago as haven't wanted to appear insensitive to her horrific diagnosis but do try very hard to be uplifting for her as well as grandkids. You've helped me understand.

🥰 Kelly, I was scrolling and God put you and your precious family in my life tonight as I headed to bed. I, too, have walked this journey years ago with a 22 year old daughter. I will definitely add your family to my 🙏🏻 list. ( A little tip, for you that helped me so much. The shower is your private space and those drips of water and letting yourself cry 😢 quietly, will definitely help in personal strength department:). Talk to God anytime & any where, HE is always listening. My daughter has 2 sisters and a brother, and my husband was alive during this family journey. I, too, reached out to friends all over, as we had been transferred sooo many times. The type Juli was diagnosed with is MMM. One of her sayings of encouragement: “It’s a Cinch by the inch”:). I will be keeping Rey’s Medical Team in my 🙏🏻 for GOD’S guidance, as well as for your whole family❣️. Healing Prayers for each of you. You are a very strong Mama and He will keep you with positivity. I’m crying with you right now. When my daughter was 16, I got a call with MRI results saying she had a large brain tumor. I collapsed on the floor. My knees literally gave out and cried from the depths of my soul. As a mother, it’s the hardest thing to bare. But you are going to snap into action and channel these emotions towards appts and caring for him. Get a binder to keep info from every appt and scan reports in!!!! It will help tremendously!! Many, Many prayers going up. My only son is 27. My cousins son had colon cancer. He is fine now. She lost her husband this year. Just late 50's. I lost my Dad last year. He was 93. Still miss him and my Mom. She passed in 1990. Lived 7 years with breast to bone cancer. My Dad said on the video chat from his hospital covid bed with my step sister, Take Care of your family. Oh sweetie, as I read your blog today and realize what is happening to your family it broke my heart. I am praying for you right now and your family for God to completely heal that boy's body and to help you and the rest of your family get through this give you strength and I know he will.. in 2018 I lost one of my sons to cancer he was so kind and so sweet he had just turned 50 on on February the 19th and past on February 21st. He was one of those kids that touched so many people's hearts and they thought so fondly of him even to this day and still breaks my heart so I know what you're going through but you know through all of that our God was with me gave me strength and still continues to encourage me so I know our God will do this for you also he is such a wonderful God so loving. As a Mom myself who has had crisis's with my own children, there is NO SHAME in concentrating on YOUR crises at hand... Doing that does NOT discredit anyone else's crisis they are foregoing... Also as a 2 time cancer survivor myself, a positive outlook & attitude is half the battle from the beginning... May God bless you, your son & your family with a victorious outcome here... On a side note - if you freeze a lemon & shave some of the rind and sprinkle it on your food several times a day, that is 100x more powerful than chemotherapy AND IT'S NATURAL ❤️❤️
My prayers are with you and your son and family Kelly. 😢❤ As having gone thru this with my children’s Dad (diagnosed w neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer stage 4) in September 2016), never ever be afraid to seek other opinions, if you don’t feel a doctor is listening to you or addressing concerns, have a fresh set of eyes look at Ray. ALWAYS, always read thru every stinking report! I did that and actually caught a fracture that the doc missed! When it’s a fight like this, we must be our own advocates. May God place his grace around Ray and you and your family.
The raw emotions you are feeling will come in waves. As I told you, I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in March 2022. Your description was exactly my story. That being said, I went to cancer treatment center of Chicago that same week. I was also diagnosed stage 4. The GI doctor did chryo therapy on my tumor, as of the end of July, after having 4 treatments of chryo (freezing tumor) the endoscopy showed no tumor... my point to all this rambling is, never give up! Stage 4 is just a number. You are a very strong God worshiping woman. You've got this Kelly! I am here to listen, give you my experiences I've had to this point, and support however you may need it. We are praying for you and your family Kelly! Our son was diagnosed with brain cancer at 16 months. We were told we had 2 years left with him. He is about to turn 12!! You have our support and prayers behind you, your son, and daughters! It is not easy to here the words that you child has cancer. I went to grief counseling for quite a while learning to deal with what we were given, but what a blessing we are given every single day. Live for that because it’s what can help get thru the long days.

I’m a long time silent watcher but had to comment on this video. My heart just sank when you started explaining. My Daddy was diagnosed 9-28-21 with Stage 4 stomach and liver cancer. To say my heart goes out to you is an understatement. He has been getting chemo for almost a year. There have been so many ups and downs it’s unbelievable. One thing I’ve learned is a positive attitude goes a long way. My advice would be to try to keep life as normal as possible and let Ray keep as much independence as he can. That has helped my dad to fight on. We are claiming our miracle from God and I want you to do the same. You’re all in my prayers. 🙏🏻❤️

Kelly, as a mom and a human, my heart goes out to you and your family. I can only imagine how terrifying a diagnosis like this is - probably worse that it's your child than if it was your own, right? I'm sending you as many healing thoughts as I can and if anything can help, it will be your wonderfully positive attitude that has always been on full display to those of us who've followed you for a while have seen, through the many tough things you've gone through (and shared with us) over the years. So, keep up that positivity, even when it feels like it's impossible. Your son can and will beat this - believe it, picture it, and know it in your heart. And know that we're all here for you, rooting for you, as we've done for so long. And you're right - your story will inspire others, perhaps someone who may not have gone to the doctor, despite having symptoms, who will now go - you will have helped save their life by sharing such a personal story. Stay strong. We know the iron strength you have - we've seen it! - so use it. Love is the strongest energy there is, and you have that in abundance.

I cried with you when I watched your announcement. I've never watched your channel before but there you were today needing prayers and I truly believe God steered me in your direction. I am now a new subscriber and will support you. I know how difficult it is to function during this trying time because I've been through it. There is such power in prayer and God REALLY DOES hear us when we cry out to Him. My husband went through cancer and chemo 5 years ago and I had never prayed so fervently in my life. I usually lurk in the background mainly because so many people say what I have already wanted to say. This time however I am going to leave my thoughts for you and your family. All of you have been through so much the last few years, and I do mean a lot. This by far has got to be the hardest. You are so right about staying positive. You are a fantastic Mom in always putting each one of your children first and thinking of their individual needs. But please don't think that you are alone in this. My heart just breaks knowing that you all are going through this but as I am writing this there has already be 13,346 comments...see you are definitely not alone. Then there is another reason, you have faith. You have to keep your faith and let Him help you to carry this burden for you. I admire you so much for coming forward like this on your blog because yes you are helping so many other that are going through similar situations. You have made such an impact around the world, not only with your creative mind, but through sharing your real life struggles. I know that some may think that I am being overly religious but I wont apologize for my beliefs. I sometimes thinks that the trials we go through and how we show people how we lean on Him for support and the love and support of our fellow men and women, shows how close we are to Him for Satan to always be attacking every which way he can to try and break us down. You are going to have hundreds of thousands of prayer constantly headed your way and for the kids. Ray will get through this. Talk to us and let us help to carry some of this burden for you. I am praying the good Lord will send to you daily to each one of you angle hugs and that He will wrap His arms around all of you and carry you through this each and every day.

I am a two time cancer survivor. Stage 4 malignant melanoma. I feel your pain. You, your son and the rest of your family need to draw on more than your inner human strength. Take all your burdens to the cross of Jesus Christ and let His Holy Spirit not only direct your decisions but bring you inner peace that surpasses all understanding as well. Is
this a “religious “ response? No. This is a reality check that we are all vulnerable to the negative things in this world and the only One who can heal or solve them is The Great Physician. He made us. Only He can fix us. Be strong in the Lord and by all means be positive that God’s got this. If you have dedicated yourself to Him then let Him get the glory in the healing. He walked in and said "I just had this overpowering urge to pray for her." And so we did. We pray for a miracle! For comfort during this trying time, for blessings and understanding. I am so sorry you are facing this with your son! I had breast cancer, double mastectomy, chemo, radiation. 10 years have passed, and I'm blessed to still be here to appreciate every single day I am given. This is the first time I’ve ever seen your channel but felt drawn to watch it. I’m so very sorry for what Ray and your family is going through. I can’t begin to imagine. I’m praying for all of you. For strength, for peace, for wisdom, for healing and most importantly that you all know Jesus as your personal savior. You’re not alone in this as I see there are many standing with you. I’ll be praying everyday for you and your family. I’m believing for a miracle! My mom had cancer all throughput her nervous system when she was 58 and was given maybe 3 months to live. As someone that worked in Healthcare in the hospital setting for 20 plus years, I know this can be hard to wrap your mind around but I personally have met many people with this type of cancer who have recovered fully and go on to live healthy and productive lives. I will absolutely keep watching and you and your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs sweet lady, you will get through this and you have so many people that love and care about and for you. Stay as positive as you can but also know it is ok to go take a shower or bath and break down once in a while too.

Kelly I’m going to try my best to keep my comments short. I am so sorry to hear that your family is going through this and I will definitely send positive thoughts and prayers your way 🙏🏽 I know you can get through this and yes it is painful when your child is sick and you are feeling like there’s not a thing you can do about it. My son was 16 (a sophomore in high school) when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. I thought my entire world had come to an end. I was sad, mad, scared, confused, sick and weak from crying most days. I remember asking the Lord for peace and strength as I found ways to be strong with him even on days I wasn’t very strong at all. We had tons of family and friends reaching out to help but we had to turn away help most days because due to my sons immune system being very weak he could not be around others. That meant my husband and I basically had to be there for our son “alone” but not without the Lord. My faith was challenged because I could not understand how this could be happening to a good kid who was an innocent child who did not deserve to be “punished” with this awful disease. We never stopped praying and I knew I needed to do everything I could to stay strong and healthy so I could be there for him. I encourage you to do the same. And yes, continue to work and do things to keep your mind off of what your son is going through. Our doctor also advised us to stay off of the internet looking up articles about leukemia because there is a lot of false information out there that will make things worse for your mental health. Your son’s doctors will give you research based information that you will need to keep you informed on the best way to care for your son. Also, do not listen to anyone who is not a licensed professional in treating cancer. There will be so many “self made” doctors (friends) trying to give you advice about what you and your son should and should not be doing to help him get through this. Including the best treatment and medicines. Please don’t listen to them. I believe my son is still alive today (he’s 30 now) because we did everything the doctors told us to do. My pastor told me it was ok to question the Lord because He’s the one who has the answers. I do believe we went through that chapter in our lives because the Lord wants me to be a testimony to other mothers like you who need hope and to hear that our God is a healer. ❤️🩹🙏🏽

Man, you just never know. You have so much strength for even being able to make this video! I know every person is different but positive stories add a little hope. My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in her early 20's which is very uncommon or it was at the time. She's now in her 50's and hasn't had cancer in over 20 years. She's healthy and happy. The lord will help carry you and your family when you can't do it on your own! Love and prayers to you and your family! Big, big hugs too!
I am so so so sorry, Kelly. I’m not a parent, but I’m a 26 year old that was diagnosed with CML, a chronic form of leukemia, about two months ago. Please stay positive for Ray. My dad has been the positive one so I could have my moments and be pessimistic. I’ll be thinking of you all. And if Ray needs someone to talk to, please let him know I’m here as a neutral ear.

Kelly, as one of your long time subscribers, I see you as family. I am here for you. Another creator that I follow lost her home, all of her belongings in a hurricane and shortly after that event, she lost her son unexpectedly. As family, we went into her archives, re-watched past videos and new updates when she was up to it. That created extra income from youtube for her and let her know how much we love and respect her. I encourage all of us here to help in the same way when we can.

My heart goes out to you and your son and family. From the time my children were born my greatest fear was to have something happen to them. My heat breaks for you, stay positive but ready to listen to him talk about his fears of his future, even if cancer is winning. He needs your strength and love, the same for your girls, but take care of yourself, mentally and physically, find a way to cry and work through your fears, you need this. My advice is because I had to face my worst fear, when my daughter was in an accident where her head was internally separated from her spin and the first three vertebrae were broken. I had to first get through the first night where they didn’t think she would make it, then get through everyday since. I have lost 2 sisters to cancer and one to heart disease.
Take one day at a time, know there is an array of us behind you, and uplifting you and sending you strength. Take care.
