Thank you for hearing me. I’m 71 years old; married to and abused by him for 20 years. I had no idea who or what a covert narcissist was until 22 months ago, when God brought me a book explaining. I told him I know what’s going on now and it must stop. He denied and wouldn’t listen, the pastor called me a liar, so I left him last July. He filed for divorce in September, finalized last December. They all turned on me and excommunicated me in November. But God is so good and gracious, helps me so much 💖 He’s working it out.
I spoke the truth about his abuse and left him, but they wouldn’t believe or even hear me. I’m attending a different church now, but I can’t talk about it with anyone. The only ones who can grasp situations like this are ones who have experienced them themselves. Everyone thinks I’m crazy, even my own children.
