Great move by the Fijis to involve youth in this event. Especially students. Their government needs to support them. I'm just so thrilled of how this run executed with blistering pace..but the fijian boys always got the determination to contest the track race with guts..we can see that ..here! But congratulation to the png mens atheletes..who shrugged off a sheer passion from the fiji boys in an awesome and epic finale...what a joy to see the Pacific atheletes fam enjoy the sport..Thank you All❤
@@thomasjohns7877 yes ..but are heavy matured ages..png majority of them are matured players or senior experienced players..only a few is young at 21yrs..but for fiji majority are below 21yrs old same as other P.I states who still developing their players..but png they've reached a matured and exprienced stage form to deliver a winning combination...png are No.1 now in the tracks..proud of them👏👏👍

But atheletics right now is an option for many aspiring fijians to other well paid sports like rugby or soccer and even rugby league..

The PNG Team is quite young as well and PNG has a solid development pathway for up coming athletes to ensure it is competitive in the future.
