My VHS Camcorders - Cheap Vintage Cameras for modern FX

Are you making a retro video using VHS? Use the real thing! In this video I share the two Panasonic camcorders I currently own. The first is a Panasonic AG-187 I bought off of eBay for $15, the 2nd is a Panasonic AG-195 I took a chance on for $13.99 at a Good Will!

Well I recommend using a hi8VHS camera I have a Sony cc'd tr700 from 1994

I've got an AG-456 that makes the same noise, and another one that doesn't make the noise. My guess is that some type of roller or maybe the head is lacking proper lubricant and thats whats causing the noise but im not a tech either.

You were saying the only problems people have nowadays, is finding the battery. But in reality the REAL problem is finding a working camera! They’re all busted now!

Can you comment on the difference between the AG-195 and the AG-195P? I've been desperately searching and cannot find any information on this.
