This Geshe doesn't study Buddha's biography properly because he doesn't know where Buddha was born, he has confusion and saying buddha was born in Lumbini India...(12:38) which is totally wrong....The world knows Lumbini is in Nepal
Indian Prince Siddhartha Gautama’s story told place 2584 years ago. It doesn’t start from 1768, 1947 or 1971. Historical Lumbini or Bodh Gaya May be in modern day Nepal or Pakistan or Bangladesh, in much of the history Indian Subcontinent was indeed undifferentiated India. In was indeed written in Pali, Sanskrit, Tibetan, Brami, Chinese & Japanese that the Buddha was indeed born place called Lumbini in Indian Land. Equivalent Sanskrit term could be Bharat Varsh.
No one know where Lumbini actually located until the British’s archeological discovery in early 20th Century. The Indians had long abandoned Buddhism since 12th Century & don’t care much about. The British located historical Lumbini in Modern day Nepal, few miles from UP based on Indian King Asoka’s pillar. Asoka’s pillar itself testified that this is an Indian land.
Our all Buddhist teachers some are from Indonesia, some from Bangladeshi, some from India, .but the path is same just practice their advice.that’s beneficial for us
