Keel and Keem Bay, Achill Island, Newport, Old Head trip in VW T3 Camper

One of the highlights of 2021 was spending a couple of nights on Achill Island with a cousin and his partner around 9th-10th October. They stayed in a B&B whilst I took my 1986 T3 Camper van. Stayed in Keel beside the beach. Sunday we drove to Keem beach, had a swim, hiked up a mountain, had another swim. the weather that day was awesome, the sea was cold enough but bearable. The following day we drove up to a transmitter, our heads were up amongst the clouds. Took the Atlantic drive as we left Achill Island met met in Newport for lunch before going our separate ways. I took a detour to Old Head near Louisburgh before returning home to Lough Conn. Happy days.
