Came across the Ensign while shopping in Total Wine over the weekend. I saw the box and asked the salesperson about it and how it tasted. Both said it was good but it was on sale for $17.99 compared to the CR Peach running at $40. So I bought the Ensign Red Peach and OMG instantly sold and will be purchasing this from now on. Very subtle and from a taste perspective its really hard to tell any major differences in the CR Peach and ER Peach. Both are smooth, can be taken neat or without ice. The coloring and flavors are very similar. Not much aftertaste or bite to it. I defintely recommend for anyone whose a Cognac drinker.
I own a business in Othello Wa man and it’d a gas station we had crown royal peach and I sold like 6 bottles just today but they are hard to find bro it’s a season thing
I was at Total Wine and I got the Ensign brand as it was $7.50 less than CR. But Bird Dog Peach is my brand as its $20 and 80 proof rather than 70 proof. Peach and Vanilla whiskey with a lil cream soda and raspberry juice = a Peach Melba. Bangin
Canadian whisky has always been a favorite and inexpensive. Not a fun of flavored whisky. But the Ensign is better in over all flavor. He wrong... lol. I knew from start. Lol. Just by the color and his description of the taste. Its the after taste. The Ensign is smoother.
Just bought both of them, what can I say , looks like your sister fooled you, because glass with a blue tape is darker , and I just compared my crown royal to Ensign red,- it is darker. I also watched several videos where fellows compared both of them and they mentioned the crown royal is darker. I do feel an aftertaste in this Ensign red , it tastes like cheap vodka blended with Peach 🍑 flavor + Carmel for color ,-doesn’t even taste like whiskey…
Yeah it is a Total Wine store brand.. (not sure if you have those stores). They say the Master Distiller came from CR but I haven’t seen that verified.
Well I like the review. And I can understand. How you picked it? But I wish you head cracked open a fresh bottle of the Crown peach Because I see that that bottle Way past half the bottle and maybe was a lot of air that deflated the flavor. But that's just in my mind and you didn't even give a price. Of the new bottle. But I will look it up. But I understand that the Crown Royal Peach was a limited edition.
@@chrismiller755 thanks because that he had since the Summer and it was very low level! If I'm not mistaken, Dave always said when it gets to a certain level you should drink it anyway.
This was a newly opened bottle.. maybe a week before we left.. but we were at the beach a week (and the Wife loves the Peach.) I really doubt the fact that is was open affected it.

@@jamesmoore1743 nope not offended at all. I started this channel to connect with people. Oxidation can change a spirit (along with temp, light, etc). I mean change as in alter the taste, it won’t go bad. I think what is missing from the equation is time. How long will it take before you start to notice a difference in taste. I have stuff that has been open a year or more and still taste the same when I went back to it.
🙌🏾
Just picked up a bottle yesterday but couldn't decide between the two. I ended up going with the red. After watching this glad I did lol
Tried the Ensign Peach and love it. Crown Royal Peach is good, but this one had more favor and a spice at the end. It's good.
Ad some ice tea and lemon. Freaking delicious. Ensign Red has a more natural taste and it’s cheaper
Hey! This was very informative! I love Crown Peach, but now imma try Ensign
Ensign is made by one of the guys who helped make crown.
It's so smooth and the alcohol burn is non-existent
Awesome review, Mann. Thank you for doing this video and helping me decide which brand to buy.

Just grabbed some Red from Total Wine based off this video (and it was on sale for about 8 bucks cheaper). Appreciate the insight :)
Since I cant find Crown Peach, I guess I’ll look for this. Thanks.

Glenfiddich 21 rum cask review
You are correct, sir - Ensign is superior. Nice review!

No. Ensign is darker in color and richer in flavor. Sorry homie, but Ensign just tastes better.
Ensign red peach is better than the crown and I loved the crown
What’s the price of that ensign?
About 25-$26
@@JonesNMann in Texas the Ensign Peach is on sale for 19.99 at Total Wine
For neat bourbon drinkers Crown is probably too sweet. Id suggest trying Bird Dog peach 🍑 for more complexity.
Jim Bean did a peach, and it is trashcan juice
🙋🏾♂️ Which one do you think would taste better with the world’s best chicken sandwich from Popeyes? 😉
never seen or heard of Ensign. Is that also a canadian whiskey? Had to laugh, i was right from jump that the blue was Ensign, looks darker

@@JonesNMann one opened last year. Likely looked passed it since the few times I've been was directly to rum and asked about a certain wine.

I agree on the air
