I just recently started playing Roots of Pacha and I was having a hard time finding good guides on steam or the wiki. So I took a chance and searched UA-cam. Your channel Popped up and I just want to say thank you so much for all your videos. You’ve definitely earned a sub from me. Plus I love the meerkat icons. ❤
I'm not sure if you'd be able to help, but your guides are so helpful so I figured I'd ask: I'm on Spring 18 of year two, I have 12+ of ALL animal types, and have discovered them all as well, I caught the Icy Guanaco, and the GT Fowl, but somehow the Starry night horse isn't there, and I'm SO gutted, is there anything I can do or any reason you can think of that I've overlooked? I really don't wanna have to wait until fall if I can avoid it.... OR will it maybe be there tomorrow somehow? (My understanding was it's one day and then they go, but I've been on it and immediately started attuning the others the first day they appeared, so I'm not sure)
If you've met the conditions & no rare/legendary animal is currently in the herd (for example, there should be no gold or cloudy horse released on the date near the starry night's spawn), then it could be a bug 😮 It happened to me with the Icy Guanaco, and I had to wait till fall too! Oh and yup, they only appear for 1 day unless you attune them too 😅 Hope you find the horse soon >.
@@MeerkatPlaysIndiebut just a quick question: Do I need to have one of each color and 12 animals in my barn for the rare/legendary to spawn or can I just tame and release the lower stats ones?
@@gustavopimenta6697 You can tame (fully attune & invite to barn) any color as long as they are 12 animals of the specific species and release them anytime :D For example: You've fully attuned 4 brown boars and placed them on a small shed. Since the small shed is full, you can release them. Your "total tamed" will still be 4. After that, you can tame 4 more boars of any color for your small shed (total tamed = 8 by then). And you can just repeat that until you get 12 total tamed :D You only need the total tame count + the color conditions met, no need to keep the animals~

One unfortunate problem is that if you release a ton of animals before the rare/legendary spawn date, they may not spawn. I released multiple rare junglefowl and bison and had neither spawn on Fall 10. There also is a festival on Fall 4 that keeps you from being able to tame the golden ostrich, you're unable to enter the desert at any time. Thankfully with your guide I know when they will spawn again! Thank you always Meer.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add that to the guide 😮 That's right, there can only be 1 rare/legendary per herd so releasing some will definitely block their spawn! Thank you for the input & Good luck taming em all! 💜✨😻
So you cannot breed a rare or legendary animal from regular animals?. Also even when i breed regular animals, gaunaco for example, i always get the same color. Can breeding not produce any color variations?

So now you need to have both the original requirements and then wait the specific date for the animal to spawn?
Yush! You need to hit the total tamed & reach the color variations req. so that they will spawn on the mentioned dates! ✨
