I pray God gives Omkar Dadarkar a long life! For the selfish reason that I want to hear class khyal gayaki for the remainder of my time on the planet. I remember when (Ajoyda’s guru) Munawwar Ali was snatched away from us prematurely. I was somewhat startled at my first, instinctive reaction--a furious rage. Not grief, but rage that a couple of decades of anticipated recitals had vanished before my eyes. I had heard from my dad about his listening experiences of the great masters of the past. I never got to hear Bade Ghulam Ali, Amir Khansahib, Onkarnath, Salamat-Nazakat live, let alone Faiyyaz, Kesarbai, Krishnarao and the rest of that glittering galaxy. I did get to hear Mallikarjun and Gangubai live a number of times, so I did form an idea of the power and glory of raga music. May God grant Omkar Dadarkar a long life! Thank you for sharing. Thank you ITC for the capital, and thank you SRA for your diligence and dedication.
FYI, the second bandish is in raga Sohini. In view of our international listeners specially, I recommend the ragas be listed always. (To be honest, I myself do not always recall the names of the ragas, even when I recognize the melody immediately.)
Excellent singing of Raga Nand Omkar Dada🙏. Good to see atleast music resumed in our academy though virtually. We have a wide range of music lovers and audiences around the globe. So happy to see recitals resumed.

Very good initiative by SRA.Best wishes.Nice presentation. In my humble opinion the voice seemed a bit wobbly.Not sure if thats due to the recording system being the first online recital initiative. May be that affected the bandish pronunciation a little bit as well. Great accompaniment on the Sarangi and table.

The performance is so nuanced so smooth and with such mellow after my feel. Pranam to Sri Dadarkar and his amazingly accomplished accompanists. Pardon my technical critique, the color changing planter lights were totally out of sync with the aura. Immensely distracting. Secondly just below 'R' there was a quaint protrusion in the flex backdrop it jarred the close shots.. Finally it's an editors nightmare. It's fine Pt Ajoy Chakraborty missed an a name . Basic retake and/or rudimentary editing would have set it right. Not becoming of an organization like ITC Suggest conduct a dry run before take and avoid the edit faux pas
