A winter walk through the Mangalsala bunkers. We met a bat.
Every Saturday, we decide to walk through the snowy bunkers of Mangaļsalas, we got the idea from the Latvian Routes mobile application, there we found a free route Mangaļsalas walk, the total length of the route is 13 km. A cool route that I would like to repeat in the summer as well.
The Mangalsala bunkers are a unique place in Riga, as well as in the whole of Europe - still unexplored and not even known to the majority of Riga residents. Military buildings of different centuries: buildings of the Russian Empire (1874-1912), given from the time of the Latvian Free State (1927), ammunition warehouses of the Soviet years and other interesting objects.
