I definitely needed a "Hitch" in my dating life. I used to always overthink things and then ended up never making a move outside of a smile and quick hello.
I always key on when Hitch is like "you're job is to not to mess it up." Hitch is teaching them how "not to mess it up." How to be presentable, not embarass yourself with bad dancing, bad kisses, poor communication skills, not being caring. And for a lot of people that's basic but for a lot of other people who are very awkward around women he's just giving people social skills.
Seriously way back in my younger dating years... I learned about the (missed opportunities) key fumbling, from this movie. So many great, missed moments that just whizzed right over my head. I watch a lot of reactors and none of them have reacted to this gem... Thank you for this... subscribe earned.👍
I found it interesting that Sara was getting all angry over what she though Hitch was doing, thinking he was just teaching the hit and quit it game. I get that, hit and quit and somebody will get hurt. Yet what is her job? It seems like paparazzi. She finds out what is going on with people and then makes it super public? Stuff that really has no business being brought to the public. She ruining a relationship by doing what she does. She hurting others just like she assumes Hitch is hurting others. Damn.

No accountability no matter what they did (not saying that to Bash women, just a fact that's seen on many podcasts on dating). This is still my favorite movie ever as i love the strategic planning of something as complex as dating even though it seems like such a easy thing to do
After the fifth time watching this I'm convinced that had Eva not been with Ryan and Will with his mess, they'd be an awesome couple. But like Keanu and Sandra, they're the best couple that never happened! For a complete 180° from this check out Seven Pounds. There's a deleted scene where Hitch ran into his ex but... well... it was deleted. Threw off the whole vibe of the movie.
Honestly Alfred is a sweetheart and I would totally dance with him in that awkward way because I too have absolutely no rhythm and because I know that I don’t care how I look to anyone else.
The part Albert says waking up every morning feeling hopeless knowing that the love of your life is waking up with the wrong man and at the same time she stills finds happiness even if it's never gonna be with me really relates to my life: my job but no girl to run around with. 😑😑😑😑😑😑
I cant believe this movie ended the way it did. They wrote it so that Hitch ended up chasing Eva Mendes character down in the end after all she did to him. In real life they should have let the ending just be Albert and Allegra’s wedding celebration alone. No guy in Hitch’s shoes would want to see her again after libeling his name and picture across the front page, let alone feel something for her, after how cold hearted she is.
This movie I actually got to see like a preview of it and take a survey on it. One of the original titles for the movie was actually going to be "Last First Kiss". Then there was also "The Date Doctor", "Hitch" and I don't remember if there was a fourth. It was like a pre screening before the trailer was released. Even though the date didn't turn out too well, if it was even considered a date, I really loved this movie and couldn't wait til I could buy it for my own.
