*YES! THE OIL TRICK!* I do the same, and all my stick foundations that didn't work (Westman, especially) now work well. I use (alternate) two oils I found by Supernal: Cosmic Glow Oil and Illumine Oil Serum. If you're looking for amazing oils for the face -- look no further! I have mature, very dry, sensitive skin that will still break out, rash, etc.
These two oils transformed my skin in about a month. Healed my breakout, calmed my rosacea, has balanced my moisture and oil. I'm in ❤ with these oils!

Ooooh (OMG😄) I was planning to order Basma today to try. I like sticks on top of mineral sunscreen for daily wear. My hack is to use a flat puff (not fluffy) like those that come in a cushion foundation to press in. Wearing Lune & Astr today.

I tried the ogee stick. The smell was beyond extreme. It was all I could do, but smell the product on my face. Those close to me could smell it too and did not find it to be pleasant. But it DID look great on my skin.

Not a big fan of sticks myself. I am a liquid girl and love to apply foundation with my fingers all my life. It works for me and my skin is dry as well.
I hear that, love a good liquid as well! My skin seems to respond better to it 9 times out of 10 💜
I would lie to try the Ogee. I have tried both the Merit and Westman. The merit is very drying on my dryer skin, and the Westman was nice snd moisturizing at first but turned dryer and irritating as day went on. Have you tried the Zao foundation stick that safe n chic carries? Thank you for this review ❤
WA had alcohol so that could be the culprit of later in the day dryness.

what face oil did you use here?
I usually use a jojoba oil blend I keep around for gua sha- it's jojoba and rose/geranium extract. 💜
