I have a 24inch gigabyte 1080p gaming monitor which happens to have a 3.5mm jack. I usually connect my ps5 in this monitor via hdmi while my PC speakers are connected to the monitor's 3.5mm jack and works fine.
Now I plan to buy a MiBox 4k since I had found out that streaming netflix or youtube via ps5 consumes a lot of power.
Newbie question:
Will connecting the mibox via hdmi will also allow my monitor to send audio output via its inbuilt 3.5mm jack toward my pc speakers? Or do I have to disconnect it from the monitor and connect it directly to the mi box itself?

Nakabili nako nito recently sa Lazada instead of Mi TV Stick dahil nakasale na siya imbes na P3.5k. Gonna use it on my 10 year old 1080p LCD TV. Still waiting para madeliver dito samin. I hope mukhang ok siya.

Hi Jan Michael, pwede i-connect si Mi Box S sa kahit na anong bluetooth audio device gaya ng speaker, sound bar, headset, etc.. Kung connected na sya, sa bluetooth device na magplay yung audio from the box, hindi na sa speaker ng TV mo. 🙂

Hi Lycca Joy, designed ang Mi Box S na gamitin using a wired or wireless internet connection. For the local channels, there are tweaks and apps that can do this but they will also need an internet connection to work. 🙂

Hello Ms. Trini, mas sulit po si Mi Box S since 2GB yung RAM nya and 4K po maximum resolution nya compared kay Mi TV Stick na 1GB RAM and 1080p lang. Parehas naman na 8GB yung storage nila. Bluetooth 4.1 si Box while Bluetooth 4.2 si Stick. 🙂

Tsaka mabilis po mag-init si Mi TV Stick and nagbabagal minsan yung response nya based sa feedback ng iba. Mas portable nga lang sya over Mi Box S. 🙂

Hello Fhort, available naman si iWantTFC sa Google Play Store at working sya sa Mi Box S. Nakakapagplay din ako ng shows at sinubukan ko ulit ngayon lang. For external hard drive, 1TB lang yung meron ako at nababasa naman sya. For audio and video, bili ka nung HDMI to RCA converter para magamit mo pa din sya sa mga lumang TV. 🙂

4. Type swiftstreamz.com/download.php on the URL field.
5. From Settings, enable “Install unknown apps” for Downloader.
6. Go back to Downloader by AFTVnews then click install.
7. Open Swift Streamz, choose your desired live TV country and enjoy!

@ also Sir. My problem is our Roku Device ended its service from PLDT last March 31. Im thinking of buying this but we paid for thr PLDT Roku device.
