My brother was a self-taught pianist. He wasn’t a professional, but his undying passion for music was beautiful. I discovered Yiruma through him as this was one of the pieces he loved playing on the piano. He passed away 5 years ago and I miss him everyday. Every time I hear this song I am engulfed in both gratuity and grief. Thank you for such beautiful music; from the original composer to those that make the piece their own. 💜❤️

My nephew played this slowly on guitar a few years back, as he was still trying to work out all the notes. The stillness and the majesty of a mighty river came through in that simple version, that doesn't come out in the original which is more like a "bubbling lively stream flows in you". Playing the video at 0.75x kind of roughly approximates a slower version but with too much jarring noise. The Cello in this version was awesome as it captured some of that depth and stillness but the rest of the composition is kept as-is. Wish someone comes out with a slow and majestic version of the song making it into a true "River flows in you".
I love playing this piano piece, but I get more inspired when to hear other musicians use their instruments. These two played the violin and cello amazingly. Keep going 👏🏾

The tears are purely of awe and joy, sudden humbleness which we tend to forget and this composition just pushes you down the cliff of uncertainty and puts you in a soft humble place. If you're an empath you will have teary eyes. More power to such composers and music.

This piece of music by Yiruma is just so mesmerising alone, hearing it played with a cello and violin by these guys just adds a certain kind of extra magic to it. I’ve also heard it played on a harp along with Nuvole bianche Ludovico Einaudi which is equally as special, they really are beautiful and calming pieces of music.

레이어스 클래식! 보내주신 구독자 이벤트 앨범 정말 잘 받았습니다! 사실 음악을 배워본 적도 없고, 주변에 악기를 하는 사람도 없었는데, 중학생 때부터 피아노를 스스로 시작해서는 대학생이 된 지금도 피아노를 취미로 열심히 연습하고 있습니다ㅎㅎ 레이어스님의 음악 들으며 느껴지는 이 감정을 뭔가 멋진 단어로 표현하고 싶지만, 전문적으로 음악을 배운 적이 없기에 조금 더 표현할 수 없다는 게 아쉬울 따름입니다...구독자 이벤트 폼을 작성할 때 이벤트인만큼 글을 모두 읽어주시지 않을까 싶어 주변에서 듣던 온갖 있어보이는 단어들을 마구 주워섬긴 것만 같은데, 이렇게 뽑아주시고 앨범을 보내주시다니 그저 감사할 따름입니다ㅎㅎ 평소에도 클래식을 즐겨듣기는 했지만, 그저 '이런 것도 있구나' 싶어서 들었을 뿐이지 '와 정말 너무 좋다' 싶은 느낌은 느껴본 적이 별로 없었습니다. 이유를 레이어스님의 영상을 보고 깨닫게 되었습니다ㅋㅋ 그 이유는 어디서나 정형화된 '형식' 때문이었던 것 같습니다. 여느 연주회 영상에서 보듯 턱시도와 드레스, 양복을 빼입은 악단이 멋진 공연을 보여주는 것도 훌륭하지만, 레이어스처럼 어떨 때는 세미정장을 입고 분위기 있게, 어떨 때는 조금은 캐주얼하게 등등 원하는 스타일에 따라 자유롭게 연주하시는 모습이 음악에 '보는 맛'을 더해준 것 같습니다. 언제나 좋은 연주 들려주셔서 감사하고, 앞으로도 LAYERS 클래식이 저희에게 보여주고 싶은 모습으로 많이많이 볼 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다!

사실 음악을 배워본 적도 없고, 주변에 악기를 하는 사람도 없었는데, 중학생 때부터 피아노를 스스로 시작해서는 대학생이 된 지금도 피아노를 취미로 열심히 연습하고 있습니다ㅎㅎ 레이어스님의 음악 들으며 느껴지는 이 감정을 뭔가 멋진 단어로 표현하고 싶지만, 전문적으로 음악을 배운 적이 없기에 조금 더 표현할 수 없다는 게 아쉬울 따름입니다...구독자 이벤트 폼을 작성할 때 이벤트인만큼 글을 모두 읽어주시지 않을까 싶어 주변에서 듣던 온갖 있어보이는 단어들을 마구 주워섬긴 것만 같은데, 이렇게 뽑아주시고 앨범을 보내주시다니 그저 감사할 따름입니다ㅎㅎ
평소에도 클래식을 즐겨듣기는 했지만, 그저 '이런 것도 있구나' 싶어서 들었을 뿐이지 '와 정말 너무 좋다' 싶은 느낌은 느껴본 적이 별로 없었습니다. 이유를 레이어스님의 영상을 보고 깨닫게 되었습니다ㅋㅋ 그 이유는 어디서나 정형화된 '형식' 때문이었던 것 같습니다. 여느 연주회 영상에서 보듯 턱시도와 드레스, 양복을 빼입은 악단이 멋진 공연을 보여주는 것도 훌륭하지만, 레이어스처럼 어떨 때는 세미정장을 입고 분위기 있게, 어떨 때는 조금은 캐주얼하게 등등 원하는 스타일에 따라 자유롭게 연주하시는 모습이 음악에 '보는 맛'을 더해준 것 같습니다.
언제나 좋은 연주 들려주셔서 감사하고, 앞으로도 LAYERS 클래식이 저희에게 보여주고 싶은 모습으로 많이많이 볼 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다!

Now i listen to this song because it reminded me of her everytime .she was the one i was living for her because i have a cancer and we are living alone because my dad died the 3 years ago and now with my mom gone i have no hope now
