Michele, I’m going to be trying something quite ambitious with Maven tomorrow. Going to do a spiral 🌀 that starts at 60ft rising to 250ft……and the outer ring on the circle will be around 1000ft from where it started, an 18 minute flight in total. Do you think I’m being too ambitious, it’s going to look incredible if I can pull it off.
I want to create a Spiral, but, I want to drop a POI on one side of the spiral so that as it flys in circles, it’s pointed outwards instead of in the middle. Reason being is my light is attached to the back of it for Light Painting. I created an orbit, then dropped a POI elsewhere, then went I tried to change the original focus point to the new POI, the spiral moved over to the new one. Is this possible to do?
You can create the spiral with the POI in the middle, then in mission setting you can choose “manual (rc control)” as heading option. So during the mission you can rotate manually the “yaw” of the drone to the desired angle with the remote controller.

I also see something else it bothers me. Please refund my money for this app. In checking the mission parameters I see that disconnection behavior for the mini 2 and the air 2 and others are “stop and return to home”. Essentially what you’re saying is this is a virtual mission only and not a real Autonomous flight. That should be spelled out early on. I wasted my money in that case because I can get that done with another app I have.
It’s not an issue off the app..Those drones have firmware limitation, they can’t perform full autonomous mission. No app can do that. You can ask refund for the app from Apple. Please use google to find directions on how.

Great app. With my Spark the by flight function isn’t accurate. It doesn’t fly to the same spots. If this a problem with the Spark’s GPS accuracy?

Sure , you can manually use all functions of the camera while the mission is running, so also start interval photos shots
Is the help manual only available through online videos? That’s very problematic if someone’s out away from Wi-Fi or cell service.
