I have always known it to represent, as my kippas, to show pride in my faith. It denotes the the origin of my religion. The five point however, has been associated with baal worship. Satanic rituals and the like. I have noted the stars of certain questionable organizations to be five point. Maybe satan is causing his usual confusion.
