If you have a ship saved (or downloaded) into your ship library, you can load the crew roles from that ship onto your own without needing to add the ship first by selecting 'load ship roles' and selecting the saved ship you want to load the roles from
THANK YOU SO MUCH for the trick with doing multiple settings at once. now i'm rightclicking every option like an idiot again like i did when i found out about mirror axes in building mode.
About the Fire Extinguishers and Airlocks, You can also add Reactors to the list of No need to assign because if you just assign the job they will auto get from the closest reactor.
I would love you to have a "intermediate and upgrading ships" guide (with steampack for examples as bonus). To be able to talk about 300k designs and such and intentions behind ship design elements as they grow.
Keep up the great work on these videos! I only started playing 2 days ago, and your channel basically taught me most of what i know. Hope you cna manage to get monetized. One tip i have for you is to use a youtube tag generator. it will help make the algorithm recommend you more. Cheers!
I'd suggest making the request for subs more subtle, flat out begging feels...wrong... Like how Lathland did it in his From the Depths videos when viewing his ship overviews having one of the dummy ships in the shape of "Like and subscribe!" in a funny inconspicuous way, you could have done something similar here when you were showing the overview of the different ship types.
Learned something in 10 seconds… I didn’t know the roster was clickable. I just tracked down crewmates to reassign their quarters when I was undercrewed….. 😭
Probably because the guy who is trying to get to the fire extinguishers is at the other side of the ship, happens alot annoyingly. The devs should really buff fire extinguishers, they need to take out fire faster, in a radius or maybe an entire room. Seeing your stuff burn rapidly with only one dude trying to put the fire out is genuine torture.

@@gamerplays5131 yeah im not sure i have seen a guy successfully extinguish a fire. My whole ship usually goes up in flames lol
@@thorodox3796 They should be automatic like roombas but for fire
To be fair. That was a basic guide not an advanced :(
