I literally just want to send out weekly updates to the 5 people who registered for my course ... and I have no idea how to simply send them an email lol. I realize how much of a nube i am but frustration doesn’t even begin to describe this for me lol you’re on the ball my man but This thing does almost too much
So what you would have wanted to setup before they joined your course was a simple automation that subscribes new customers of that course to an email sequence.

Thank you Graham. All of the tricks were helpful. However I’m going to apply the follow up trick for those that don’t buy after clicking the link... and give them other pay options.
Graham~ After going through AIA the 1st time, I knew that I needed to include this "email automation" to my mini-course and future products. But when I viewed the " 3 email automation tricks" with sequencing, email tags, and then filtering concepts... the world of possibilities has expanded. It is clear from your direct instructions that the IF / THEN, or WHEN / THEN, approach gives anyone a very simple YES / NO tree to create automation long before the client sees the 2nd, 3rd, etc. products in sequence... because it's all in a linear sequence. Brilliant! ~g PS, I went back to all 23 videos and the mini-course, and added the CTA sequence you taught, with first the Lead Magnet, then capture, then sequence more free content in the 5-day process. Always quality work from you. Clients don't pay you enough for the value and content given. Just sayin'...

How would you go about altering out people if you have already sent them emails... for example if you have sent a group of people an email because they have visited the site (which you give them a payment option), if you then need to email again in a month time for new sign ups how do you rule them out?

Hey Graham, LOVE your content! I was wondering if you use anything like deadline funnel for your evergreen sales funnels when setting it up in Kajabi? Or is everything set up and run through Kajabi? Is there a way to have the offers in a sales funnel expire automatically for every person that goes through them?
I use Deadline Funnel for one of my businesses in my evergreen funnel. Not for this one though. Unfortunately Kajabi does not have that functionality baked in.
Hey Graham, If you use an email Broadcast that you send out once, will it automatically be sent to people who receive the "completed Sequence" after the initial broadcast?

Hey Graham. Thanks for walking viewers like me through this. I'm currently a kajabi user but organizing emails is a huge challenge for me. Do you offer a course or know of someone who offers a course specific to emails? Like how to organize emails and walk subscribers through automations? You've done that in this video but I'd love to see something that teaches which emails to send based on the length of time a person has been on your list or even based on subscriber behavior. @@GrahamCochrane thanks fo the response. I have a nurture sequence in place but that's the only thing I'm confident with runnng on autopilot. It would help to better understand the different kind of email sequences I can have in place as a content creator to move subscribers along the customer journey. I haven't found a dedicated course yet that walks me through that specifically. It would even help to go behind the scenes of an expert who has these sequences set up and running on autopilot. Having this would save me from sending out weekly broadcasts. I hope I'm making sense. :)

Hi! Does anyone know how to set up a classic abandoned cart flow with Kajabi? There is the one transactional email, but I want to set up an entire flow.
16:55 it might make more sense to add the person into this new email sequence using *automation* - Kajabi *knows* when a user has viewed all videos in a course, and the course is "completed". Create an automation on that course that adds the user to this new email sequence once the course has been "completed". Your way is better if you ALWAYS want them to be added to this new sequence regardless of whether or not they watch all the mini course videos.

Graham, right now I am doing the free trial per your recommendation and so I am still learning but ultimately, I want to send an email message to multiple parties, daily, and do you know whether this can be automated via Kajabi? (for let's say 30 days without me having to hit the 'send' button every time?) Great YT channel, thank you for sharing your tips, etc.
Yep - you would create a new email sequence and have it drip out each day for as many days as you like.
This is so useful. So in the end we can create a sequence using broadcast emails and filters.. Am I right Graham? I'm looking to create a sequence for people who checked the product but didn't buy. How would you do a follow up sequence? I get the idea, but I'm still a bit confused..
That's a good one! So to do that you would want to create an automation that TAGs people who CLICK on your sales page link in your email, that way you can promote to those people with the TAG who still haven't bought your product.

I haven’t had this experience in my business! In fact, I have a very good open and click through rate for my welcome emails.

So far Kajabi only integrates with Stripe and Paypal which accept all major credit cards.

Hey Graham, do you have any insight as to how to have the emails send to peoples' "main" email folder vs. their "promotions" Folder.
Kajabi has some "spam" trigger awareness built in when you are writing the subject line. That's helpful to pay attention to. But in general it's best to train people to go look for that initial email they get from you for your lead magnet which will train their email client to see it not as spam but as an email they want to open

Are these automations only available with growth plan?
Basic automations are included with the lowest plan. The option for "conditions" in automations is only available in the Growth plan and up.
Question about payment plans and follow ups. If my course is $97, is it worth having a payment plan? Also, with the payment plan, can someone only make the first payment, finish the course, and cancel the remaining payments? 🥺

Is this the advanced automation feature?
The only advanced feature is the ability to add conditions. That comes with the middle and upper plans.
