This was so comforting to see you shave your head. I haven't had cancer or chemo, but have simply lost most all my hair, and one day, I thought, to heck with it, and I cut my hair, (what I had left) all off. Now, my daughter, who has clippers and trims her husband's hair, does mind too! And I love it! I hate to admit it, but in the summer, I have been known to go to the grocery store sans wig or turban. In Houston, it can just be too hot! At my age, I have reach a point that if someone has a problem with it, it's their problem! Lol! But, guess what, nobody ever even gives a second look, and I don't think people notice things as much as we think they do! Love you!

All I have to do is watch one of your videos & everything seems a little bit better. The fact that you also impart all your extensive knowledge about wigs, is an added bonus. You are a very brave and passionate and because of you, I have finally allowed myself to accept that I must wear a wig forever but I can enjoy the benefits. I am not sick but my complete hair loss is permanent. You absolutely look gorgeous in a wig and I would never know you are wearing one. Thank u Patti for being so transparent. I just buzzed off my hair as all my wigs were slipping even the wig grip. I have a very low hair line in the back. Did what u did...found this video after I did it. Thank u for confirmation that these tricks help. I especially liked that u addressed the diff between how your hair is in private vs out and about. I can grow a ton of hair allover my head except in the front top. You are indeed the best!!

I encourage that because you have so many good things to say, and there are people out there who are looking for this information, but just simply don't have it. Writing a book would just be another....avenue(?) or way to get it to them. Yeah, you help a lot of people, much respect to you! Thank you.
And, by the way, you are truly beautiful with/without the wigs. I mean that sincerely. Very pretty.

Omg, after seeing it sticks on one of your videos I invested in some. Today we had the tail end of Storm Gareth and it was very blowy with big gusts. I had to go to hospital for a check up and I used the it Stays for the first time.
Wow, my wig stayed secure, it didn’t move even when a really big gust almost knocked me off my feet. I felt so secure instead of frantically trying to hold my stick, my wig and my bag. Thank you Patti, you are a godsend 😘

i wish love your passion. I struggle each day with trying to live with hair loss. I talk about this so much that I am blue in the face about overcoming hair loss. I have Lupus. And the lesions in my hair line and over my body cause me to watch what i can do with my hairline. Right now, I am talking to a few youtubers about trying to find the right wig. My experience hasn't been one that I am comfortable with. So much anxiety and although I talk about it to some, I just can't seem to take it all in. I am so thankful for improving, and i just have to wrap my mind around wigs and finding the right one. Thank you for sharing this info today. I own one wig, and it doesn't fit and I can't wait to get it off. I'm in hopes one day I will find one.

Well, here's the first thing I noticed: You referred to your cancer as "my cancer," and that is EXACTLY how I refer to mine (metastatic breast). Makes me feel like we're in control of it - ha! AND ... you are SO right. I was inundated with way MORE information than I cared to know about the medical side of things and nothing on exactly what you're showing us now, the practical side of things to keep our spirits up as much as possible. :o) I've learned so much from you. Thank you! Annette

Thank you for your videos - I watch them all and learn so much. My sideburn area has always grown far down the sides of my face, and I couldn’t cover it with wigs because it would make the wigs stick out, plus not match the wig color. Finally I decided the best thing to do was to get electrolysis to remove hair that was interfering with my wigs. It worked wonderfully well. So, I decided to do that to my back hairline too. I had my husband draw a line where I wanted the hair line to stop, plus trim the hair below the line short. Tomorrow the specialist will remove those short hairs that are below the line. This will allow me to wear short pixies with no bio hair issues. Yay!

Anyone see that Reelz channel covered Farrah Fawcett autopsy? She refused chemo for cancer because she DIDNT WANT to lose her HAIR!!!! The psychologist said women gain their identity from their hair. She said women said they would rather lose breasts than HAIR. It brought the trauma all back of my years fighting the battle for my bio hair. I am so glad I found your channel full of hope!!

When I first started wearing wigs, I tried to dye those bottom and side hairs the same color as the wig, but as we know that really isn't the answer. I really loved your video as that is exactly what I started doing a few years ago and it is truly the best thing. My husband doesn't wear wigs, but we take turns helping the other one trim off those back hairs. Kind of funny!

your making me cry. This what I am feeling now. My hair is falling, breaking off and I picked up a wig from Craigslist. The lady ssid..poop with the wigs, she likes bald or scarves, she had it clean and showed me how to put it on. Fine, but when I was driving away that wig ..was sprinting to my crown. I ordered some Stays Put...thank you hope it arrives soon. The Orchestra I play in, just posted that Individual Pictures of each player will be taken This Saturday. They have never seen me in a wig, just this mess on my head.
I am afraid to even show up...yes, I have a wig but it is s very short style and very dark brown. I was a frosted hairdresser in the 70's...We were never taught to do more than wiglets..I need fullness. and money to afford a wig that I forget my sick looking head.
What is in shampoos that is bad for synthetics? Can you use Baking soda?
seems, that is what they used in school.
so many products, equipment, combs, brushes, sprays....Texture cream?
why, when how...my head is spinning.
Love all your shows, you are so inspiring..and hope this will sink in...
My hair looks fried..looking just get past this Veterans Day Concert...hope that glue gets here!!
