Reaper can just swim in to sand, reaper's guiding AI will stop it from run it to Terran, but reaper can actually run in to Terran (only rock, sand, alien buildings, because other stuff are counted as a separate thing just like a fish or player or buildings), reaper will still run through Terran when it got no way to go or it can only get out by glitchly turn are round(game don't want you see it glitch, even run through Terran is better than do some weird turning things)

I wish you could still get the terraformer without using console commands *I am a long time player of subnautica so i remember when you were able to get it regularly*
Skillz2Play While it is cool, it's just too game breaking and buggy. It also just removes some immersion of being trapped on the alien world, as the terraformer just allows you to do whatever tf you want like trapping creatures etc. It just also just let you cheat the system in ways like digging tunnels to places to avoid danger etc. It was a cool concept though
I think i know what one of the reasons is that they removed it: i would dig out every single base the precursors have, and i would dig out all of the power cables. But yea, its really sad that they removed it. I usually cheat it in, not for massive terraforming, just for small things. Like if you base doesnt fit in a part where you want it (it can block the build option) than i just carve a bit into the wall or floor so i can make it fit in nicely. Im not going to dig out massive tunnels. Atleast not untill i finish the story (rocket included).
My best guess for the cliffs and noises is there might of originally been a plan for a final boss like a Kraken or Cthulhu type creature, but they never got far enough to add the creature before realizing that they should go down the path we know today, it just took them a while to remove the cliffs and noises
The cliff sounds were playing glitched versions of a few in-game samples: the seamoth engine sound, the old seaglide propellor sound, and the old gun siren (never implemented)
yeah, I spent a LOT of time looking for that stupid hell hole after the game released. (since that's the way I got down to the lava zone early in game before the release)
The Hell Hole is still in the game. I stumbled upon it accidently when trying to get out of the Inactive Lava Zone. I found a way out which lead to an opening in the Lost River, being circled by a Ghost Leviathan. Continuing to go up, I spotted two Reaper skeletons and eventually exited a hole close to the Bulb Zone. It's now my preferred way to get to the Lava Zone. It's better than trying to take the Cyclops through a blood kelp zone, which is just a pain.
There is a way to recreate the powerglide, you need a habitat, and a prop cannon. How you do it is you fire anything at the base with prop cannon to make it leak. Then, head in while it is flooding. Hold out your seaglide, and once the base is flooded, head out.

As someone who got his seamoth AND his cyclops before his seaglide I think it would have been REALLY stinking helpful to detect where the fragments are in a crash site. Personally I don't find that mechanic cool I find it MANDATORY! I sometimes genuinely simply can not find the fragments I am supposed to find. This is especially difficult early game with a limited air supply and the constant need to resurface losing track of where on the seafloor you have searched.
Maybe the weird sounds when you were at the edge of the map and there was Islands was a big creature making those sounds and the sounds in the void is a different creature making a sound so that means there are 6 Leviathan classes alive
Those cliffs were the devs way to test sound two of those sounds use to come from the back of the Aurora until to many players were creeped out by it or concerned about it
They should've left in the big hole because firstly, It would've made traveling down there WAY easier and second, would've left a logical way for the sea dragon to come up and snag reaper leviathans... How would it catch them if say it had to come up through the blood kelp zone or the grand reef... doesn't make a whole lot of sense
You can just use the arches to get down there. And I'm pretty sure they removed that information about the sea dragons with the update too. I personally find it better this way because it used to be way too easy to find the inactive lava zone and there would be no use for the arches if it was still there.
When I first started playing subnautica, terraforming still existed. I was really confused years later when I had come back to the full game and it was gone
Lousie Drake You mean, habitat compartments? The Cyclops and a base are not the same thing, you know? And if you mean "Cyclops compartments", can you be more specific, please? I really didn't know it still existed.
Aci You forgot to mention that the description of the Terraformer says "RIP Terraformer", which the wiki mentions could mean that the development team really wanted the Terraformer to be a part of the game.
I know the devs removed the Sea Dragon/Sea Moth animation because the Sea Moth can't go below 900 meters, but it makes sense for them to have had it in the game initially with Hell Hole being a thing. They probably intended for Sea Dragon Leviathans to rise to the surface in game to catch Reapers, and if you got too close in your Sea Moth, you'd be devoured instead.

Maybe the weird sounds when you were at the edge of the map and there was Islands was a big creature making those sounds and the sounds in the void is a different creature making a sound so that means there are 6 Leviathan classes alive
Or maybe it was 2 islands and that was GUN. They are not even make story at that tyme.
there are 6 :P
Sea treader
reaper
ghost
reefback
sea emperor
sea dragon

@@BananaDude508 are you sure sea treaders a leviathan? theyre barely bigger than the crabsquid
@@TheOzziemozzie ye, check the leviathan fandom
It sounded like one of the sounds was the gun deactivating
its actually the old siren from the gun. [I'm guessing it was there because they were trying to scare players away from the edge of the map]
ik but its just an old siren noise they had. then at one point they used it for the gun, then updated it.
Man, alpha and pre-alpha Subnautica just had some kind of special feeling about them.
Perhaps the creepy sound was going to be used for a cutscene when you enter the dead zone where the leviathan would swim around you the kill you
Or, Y'know. Old Precursor Base sounds.
Dude your English has improved amazingly over time
I just realized I didn't watch the video and ended up watching all of the abusive comments. Sorry aci
I am watching this right after completing subnautica.
"I normally score the highest of anyone"
Speedymouse; You sure about that?
The Last Bacon; You sure about that?
Those cliffs were the devs way to test sound two of those sounds use to come from the back of the Aurora until to many players were creeped out by it or concerned about it
I literally spent an hour looking for the hellhole yesterday I didn't know they had removed it😂
The wall cliff noise at the end sounds like a warper
4:13 sound like the alien gun when it is about to shoot the sunbeam.
SCP_Titan 6265 sounds kind of like a seamoth/ cyclops engine moving
You are right
SPOILERS
Excuse me what
@@mrrandom3945 umm spoilers?
Imagine a Peeper just see A dragon leviathan dragging a reaper leviathan
Some of the strange sounds for number six are the alien cannon that shoots down the sunbeam
This was just a way to scare people from going to far out of bounds, it is interesting but nothing more than a scare.
I personally think that the ghost laviathans out there are way too harsh.
I've just understood, why you reverse Subnautica logo every intro :D
Why

So many memories
Subnautica removes twisty bridges
Subnautica below zero: aight it’s rewind time
They should've left in the big hole because firstly, It would've made traveling down there WAY easier and second, would've left a logical way for the sea dragon to come up and snag reaper leviathans...
3:58 OMG TRIPODS FROM WAR OF THE WORLDS CONFIRMED!!!!
3:50 the strange sounds might be the artic dlc
It sounds like the ambient if your on land
Why not the seaglide can't have an upgrade from modification station?
Imagine if you could put torpedoes and stuff on that thing. Lol that would be awesome!
seaglide -> powerglide -> recharges quicker using 1.5 times more power OR, infinite increased speed but uses 3 times as much power
There is a glitch that makes the Seaglide faster, but it involves have a portion of your base flooded
@@squallstopher608 Imagine calling the moonpool a flood.
One I heard was a dropped mechanic was a power bank for your habitat, allowing you to store more power than just whatever generator you are using
When I first started playing subnautica, terraforming still existed. I was really confused years later when I had come back to the full game and it was gone
Cyclops flooding
it is in the game
Koda Holt it does still flood in the compartments, especially if you do what I did and left all the doors open
Louise Drake makes sense gg
Lousie Drake You mean, habitat compartments? The Cyclops and a base are not the same thing, you know?
And if you mean "Cyclops compartments", can you be more specific, please? I really didn't know it still existed.
And yes, by flooding i mean that the cyclops floods fully, loses stability and falls, or at least that you can drown in a flooding cyclops
2:00 I know it's just his accent and he says reaper but it 100% sounds like he says r*per
3:49 those are old ghost leviathan sounds
And old warper sounds
GodHatesMe so they were lurking in the void the entire time before they were even officially added..
Le Shape they’re just chilling

You forgot to mention that the description of the Terraformer says "RIP Terraformer", which the wiki mentions could mean that the development team really wanted the Terraformer to be a part of the game.
