It’s always kind of disturbing seeing such young kids playing so wonderful. If you just hear her playing you wouldn’t think of a kid. Incredible
There is nothing disturbing in seeing another human being excelling in their particular art.Child prodigies have always been with us and let's hope in this case her own will was not unduly compromised.

@@thedirector594 Not desire for mediocrity, but letting her be a normal child. We can see it in people who have become famous too young that they don't develop fully mature social behaviours. I have no problem with young people playing well, I just hope her parents let her do normal things with other kids. I think that every prodigy has to be forced or persuaded to keep practising to some degree, no kid can be so patient and far-sighted to keep practising for hours every single day.

i have a bacehlor degree in music with honours specialising in violin and composition and even i wont go near the caprices haha
She's never intimidated by the difficulty, at once humble and patient knowing it will be some time until she masters the piece and doing her best, to do her very best, carefully and with musical integrity. Her sense of musical phrasing and the scope of her musical intelligence and understanding of the greater piece is very impressive at her level of prodigy development. If I had the money, I'd buy her a $20k violin which is the very least she deserves.

Das ist echt stark. Viele spielen diese Musik zum Angeben und Hauptsache schnell, aber diese Performance war... sorgfältig und ernsthaft? Falls sie weiter Spaß an der Musik hat, bin ich gespannt, was aus ihr wird.

Which size is this violin? Most of the small size violins are very difficult to make such pretty sound.

I love how patient and controlled she was. She made sure that every note was allowed the proper amount of bow to sound clearly and cleanly (which meant placing the bow and fingers properly before sounding it). She never really let the music get away from her which, at her age, shows a remarkable level of maturity. And she’s musical too, it’s not all robotics. There’s phrasing as well as an attention to the technical details. Really great performance from someone so young, she’ll be ripping it like Hilary Hahn in no time.
This interpretation’s rubato is sensitive, the tenderness is perfect,
But maybe can be slower in the thirds and tenths variation.
Makes me want to practice 40 hours 💩

I think Paganini was slightly insane, but his compositions certainly accommodate masterful skill demonstration. There are lots of videos of talented, devoted young violin players on YT, but this child is, I think, one of the best. I'm also impressed with the tone of the violin. Is that a three-quarter? It's almost too big for her, so she's growing into it.

Young body...old soul...Her playing conveys more than a 100 years of experience...Wowowow
With all my deepest respect to this great young talent and her wonderfull teachers...it's hard to see this child's mimic - it really often shows tension. At the end of performance - no smile, she looks like a small soldier who did his task. I really hope this child is feeling happy with this extremely hard repertoire..for her tender age. But anyway, of course, many best wishes on musical path and plenty of happy moments on stage to this incredible talent and a very hard worker. But it will be nice to see her more relaxed and happy. Brava, Brava! 🌷

For learning and enjoying!! Gosh, when I was a young student at Juilliard, I was so eager to play the hardest, most exciting pieces. She can do it. It’s not beyond her.
@@concertmasterntl I totally agree. Being able to read through the hardest piece was more than fun and made me feel accomplished. When i got to arts school, then it all became competition of who was working on the most challenging piece
