Love it! This should put the AI naysayers and fearmongers to rest. Creatives have nothing but runway ahead in this brave new AI generative world. The Dor Brothers are proof that, with AI, at least one of my predictions came thru for the video arts: you can now show people something they have NEVER seen before. This is the limitation of traditional video: the magnitude of the task to get your imagination to display on a screen is seriously high. Now with AI, your imagination is, quite literally, set free. Kudos Dor Brothers.

I love the song. Probably my favorite on the album. It's about an old warrior coming to terms with his age. No longer able to compete with his past because of his age. A warrior of renowned valor struggling to be everything he used to be. A warrior gearing up for the last time. Not a good video to represent the meaning of the song.

Very good, but I want to see smoother transitions between scenes, and some scenes can be longer if possible. And when I say "longer" I don't mean it to become slower. I mean for the scene to keep revealing more content. Psychedelic trips are like that: they compell you to look at them, and the more you look at them, the more is seen.

Pretty sure the short and repetitive transitions are a limitation of a common txt->image->video generation tech, called AnimateDiff.. The algorithm is just fluidly morphing 'objects' it 'sees' from one keyframe to the next, doing so it's remarkably uncanny and smooth, but objects will routinely pop in and out and it has no deeper contextual understanding of the scene... You can keep feeding it keyframes and morphing from one scene to another , but the transitions will always just sort of melt and swirl guided some general gradient acting on the whole scene
On the other hand, mostly you do see the Dor Brothers using the cutting-edge gen like SORA video that can go straight from txt->video, keeping scene elements coherent yet dynamic.. hypothetically you could prompt a longer sequence of actions, but currently the models are so new the tools are not developed yet to string together that kind of control and direction + the hardware demands are insane

Its amazing how far Tool got with only ever writing one song. Even more amazing, how much travel you got out of playing 12 minutes of it. I think the kindest thing anyone could say about tool is "variations on a theme".

Nah, don't be annoyed bro, there's a lot of planning that takes place for a video like this, the aesthetic has to be planned, the type of movements, all of it takes an artistic mind to guide the video canvas toward a desired outcome, we had several minds on this project and that's why it turned out so great, I hope you liked it too though man, prompting is a function that takes place but it's not the entire project by any means.
