What really bothers me is MB14 being a judge and not fighting on stage xD
The way Brez is performing is so dominant and massive. Some people bring guns to a knifefight, brez would bring a rocket launcher.

NME: Musicality
Brez: Insane energy
It actually isn't fair to say one was better than the other since both have different styles. Enjoyed the battle none the less.
It was close, and different judges will look for different aspects. NME needs to learn to keep the flow going whilst he's building the track - it's such a killer when you switch stuff up like that, but for me he had more technical mastery of the hardware. I can see Brez coming on strong in the next year though, he has an ear for a sweet rhythm and the performance skills to match. The whoel French scene is ripe with talent at the moment!
I don't argue that NME or Brez should win, but the way i read your comment.. you can't say NME have musicality and Brez doesn't. Yes they have different styles but both do music. NME have a bigger vocal range, if that's what you were trying to say, yes. (loved the battle btw)
Brez made a basic beat and then rapped over it for a long time multiple times in both rounds
This is how I felt about it as well. They have such unique styles from each other it's hard to compare
