It appears there was grey silicone RTV sealing the components of the camera and it stayed with the back when it was peeled off. Carefully peel off the RTV and apply fresh RTV.
@@canalfixe, thanks but I have tried everything and the camera just wouldn't focus , could it be the Update ? cause I haven't updated this thing in years .
@@canalfixe, if I am flying and suddenly let off the stick , it will focus really beautiful for a split second , funny . Or if I am aiming the camera straight down , the picture is much better than when it is facing forward , strange .
@@abelberenguer7966 I have sell my drone so i can't check'it, but in your case, is better to see your video / camera settings. If the black spot is right in the middle maybe is a settings feature and not dust. Hope you find the solution

Is there any glue between camera and gimbal? I see last when u remove the camera from gimbal, it looks like litle bit harder..
No, no glue, its a little hard to take out, u need to push harder but slowly, for best results try with a hard plastic edge tool

Make sure the camera is 100% clean, it might have trouble focusing cause something very small is on the lens
@@Markcool2011 , well I went for a flight about two weeks ago and guess what ? The camera started to smoke , I guess it is completely finished now .

Push a little hard but be careful because the small cables. Use some plastic tool
I haven’t. I’m going to try making a plastic tool to remove it. If that doesn’t work I’ll try and heat the adhesive.

Interesting, I tried to stick my ribbon cable back in the lens and it keeps wanting to pop out very easily, not sure why.
Check if the connector has break. If the connector has breaking you can use warm glue to fix’it

I wrote the guy who offers the lens on ebay and he told me the fastest I can get it would be 18 days
I broke this glass of my mavic, but I took only the glass without disassembling anything.

Don't use a fluorescent or LED light as it causes a flicker.
