Did their kids carry on the act?
Yes :) Carlene the daughter of June is still going strong she is 65 now, and June's son John Carter Cash who is 51, and Anita's daughter Lorrie who is now 62, Helen's sons are not really part of the music busniess anymore, Sara & AP's children are now all deceased also but Janette's children Rita and Dale who are both in their 60s are still going.
