Beginning skater here! Your review was so helpful. Everything about you in this video is cute, cool, and sincere. Loved watching it. I just bought a pair of Chaya voyagers and am still waiting for them to come in the mail. I haven’t seen any videos of women learning how to skate on skates without a heel but I’m confident I can do it. Thanks for the review!
Thank you for your honest review. It was so helpful. I have the Chaya Melrose Elite but I didn't see many reviews of Chaya skates before I bought them.
I went from Lollies to the Kismet as well, and I absolutely love the Kismets!! They are by far my favorite pair and I hardly ride my Lollies anymore. I had issues with my toe stop with my lollies as well, and the Kismet having that little bit extra as far as the toe stop really sits well with me. I also had problems with sizing and had to send them back for the next size up. I personally suggest measuring your foot and then going a size up from what the chaya size chart suggests. My husband who has tried on Chaya's before recommended this to me, but I didn't listen and ended up being wrong for trusting the size chart. The Kismets are comfortable, there is so much ankle moveability, and you can feel your weight distribution so much better on them than the Lollies. To me, they are a much better skate than the Lollies.
This was such a helpful/thorough review! I just ordered these the other day. I had the melrose deluxe before but I just sent them back because they were too big (they were a 42) and I want to primarily do skatepark skating anyway. I’m usually a US 9.5-10 and all my shoes rang from UK 40-42… I ordered a size 41 in the kismets and I really hope they aren’t too small! Also, I sprained my elbows the very first day of trying my deluxe’s inside lol so I literally feel your pain (still healing from it). Thank you so much for this review! I’m even more excited for mine to come in now :)
This was so useful, thank you! I also have moxi lollys and am thinking about the chaya's for parkskating, so I enjoyed the comparison! Your background is also so cute!!! I hope you continue to enjoy skating on these :)
Love the video and your background! One thing though, what you call a bolt on toe stop has a different name. Bolt-ons, I believe, are the ones that look hollow in the middle and that's where the bolt goes. Lolly's come with "adjustable toe stops" but these chaya's are also adjustable. So i think there needs to be a more specific term for the washer type ones, which I agree seem to come loose more
Sorry, I got lost about sizes! What size did you buy finally, EU 43? I'm size 10 for Moxis and EU size 42 for my shoes so I think we're a similar size actually (maybe you're one smaller if you're more like EU 41). Thanks for the video by the way! And yellow laces works great with these skates :)
Hey beauty, first of all it was a really nice review and I love the idea of taping front of the skate I couldn't find toeguard online and that makes perfect sense. Thank you for that :) I'm planning to by the same skates and I'm little bit confused about sizing. I usually wear size EU 39 and I measured my foot and I think my real size is EU 39.5. That's why I'm not sure about which size to buy. Should I get EU 40 or 41? ahhhh confusing. I'll be glad If you help me. Stay safe :)
Sorry for the late response! I’m really not entirely sure what the correct size boot would be for these skates, honestly. Some others were very helpful in the earlier comments with asking questions about sizes... hopefully their conversation can help clear up some of your questions. Sorry I can’t be more helpful 🙈
I have the Chaya Karma Pro (the new edition) and have the same problem with the size. I usually wear EU 40/41 depending on the shoe. And I ordered the chayas in 42. Now in the front is good wiggle room for my toes and otherwise they fit pretty snug (I haven't skated in them much yet), but I feel like they might be too big for me? Length wise they are 268mm and my feet are 255mm long, so I was thinking about selling mine and getting the 41 size (which is 261mm long). What do you think? I feel like we might have the same problem with the sizes^^" thank you so much for this review! I was looking for one like yours for months now :)
@@CoffeeeriLP Okay I measured my feet & they’re 255mm long as well & the 41 fits perfectly I’m glad I didn’t do the 40 cause it would def be too tight!
Sorry for such a late reply, I honestly forgot I posted the video in the first place 🙈 also I’m really glad @Desire Li could help, I’m not really sure I could have given any helpful advice since I have not really bought skates that fit accurately yet

Thanks for pointing that out!!! I guess there should be slightly more specific names 😅

The background is awesome 😍
i love the review and how thourough you are
Thank you for such a detailed review, very helpful ❣
you are so beautiful ❣️ this was an amazing review !!
Would you recommend these for beginner Roller Skaters who want to get into stunts at the skatepark?

Moxies don’t have a bolt on toe stop. That’s an adjustable toe stop.
You could do an experiment and switch the wheels from one boot to the other, then you could decide if it was the wheels or the boot
Great idea!! I never thought about that 🤔

I’m waiting on mine in the mail but I’m a size 9us/Eu40 & I got a 41 because I heard they run small 😭
@@desireli4004 Would love to know how well they fit! Because I am thinking of getting 41 myself :)

Yes, they're outdoor skates - typically used at skateparks
