Very happy you enjoy the build and gameplay. We put a TON of thought into its design. In addition to the 8, 12, 16 gate tops we also include a free spin top that let you play games like tempest, Breakout, Warlords and Arkanoid :). Also try Forgotten Worlds and Xybots GAME ON!
It's an interesting experience. Only ever saw these on the SNK arcades. It's quite a departure from what was going on in the west with games like Robotron and Smash TV, which used twin arcade sticks.
Nice! Cool to see you covering a GRS* product. He makes cool stuff in small batches and some of it is really impressive if you're into old arcade stuff! The packaging that is a buildable stick is a work of art. I'm tempted to buy two of them so I can install one in a proper control panel and build the other in the box and then never play it because it looks too nice.
Thank you and I really try to make it Arcade Quality without the Arcade price I want people to be able to afford the best gaming hardware and enjoy the games as they were meant to be played. I really appreciate the support 😊😊
As an ikari warriors fan i had no idea the control stick swivelled like that in the arcade…I played ikari warriors for the C64 and NES mostly back in the day
I want this stick to become a thing, having both sticks available like this means we now have a way to play regular games that use both sticks with no problems. Like Dark Souls, you can move the character with the stick and the camera by twisting. Still no vertical movement, but fightsticks are walking torwards becoming full-fledged controllers that can be used for any normal game.
It's USB so you can use it with anything they let you use a usb joystick and buttons The spinner itself has different modes. It can be treated as a joystick hat, keyboard inputs, or mouse input So as long as your system console or emulator can accept a USB joystick with these functions and theory, it should work just fine
Nice to see you got one. Grs has some good stuff. If you're into retro gaming, they have quality controls that don't break the bank. Some of these classic games has odd controls that just can't be replicated by an xbox controller.
@@NihongoGamer Yeah, it's awesome, was really cool to see you there! I was thinking like damn, I've really been watching you for sooo many years now after seeing those old fightstick videos from years ago again.
@@THENAMEISQUICKMAN there are decent number. Enough that having this stick is worth it on a control panel. Guerrilla War is probably my favorite. Along with Front line. Not all are ikari warriors looking games.
This is such an old man “in my day we didn’t have rides to school. We walked. In the snow. Uphill. Both ways.” Controller. Now we have twin stick controls for this type of game and it’s so much better.
I mean, it's a retro controller. It's specially designed to play old games. Their inputs don't always convert well to modern pad layouts. This thing is 100% built for arcade enthusiasts.

I used this with time soldiers as a kid. I don’t know why these aren’t more popular.
Time Soldiers was a favorite of mine and I never had a satisfactory experience with it in MAME. This joystick would fix that.
I remember playing Gondomania with that joystick in the arcade when I was a kid.
It would be cool if this controller is compatible with SF6. Zangief's 360 input would be so much easier.

Heavy Barrel was legendary🔥🔥🔥

Thank you so much for the kind words 💕 I really appreciate it and we have some great things in store in 2o24
Heavy Barrel!! Let's go!
Absolutely 💯
Off topic but did you see that you were mentioned in the newest hbomberguy video?
Needs to be stressed that he was mentioned in a positive way. Often being mentioned in a hbomberguy video is not something to be proud of.
@@billcook4768 Yeah, funnily enough, I was *just* about to edit my comment to include/say that lol
Yes, heard about it! So honored to have appeared in it!

Finally, the one joystick that can play Bloodstained on arcade stick
Pretty cool!
Great for Ikari Warriors games 😎👋👍
Would you be brave enough to try playing Street Fighter 6 with it?
Please, I have to see this bit of shennanigans used on something more modern
I wanted to include that for this video but ran out of time!
I wonder what playing fighting games with this thing is like. Perhaps a stream idea where you use this on a PC fighting game?
I think midnight resistance had a rotating stick as well
I may buy this just to play Time Soldiers!
I can see somebody playing SF6 with this, and literally mapping the drives to a flick of the wrist
It's USB so ... :)
You not knowing about arcade games that had twisty sticks makes me feel very old.
You and I both lol 😂
To be fair not many games used it. Ikari Warriors was really the only one that came to mind
@@THENAMEISQUICKMAN there are decent number. Enough that having this stick is worth it on a control panel. Guerrilla War is probably my favorite. Along with Front line. Not all are ikari warriors looking games.
Yo, I was so confured! I remembered playing some twin-stick game but ...not twin-stick???? Now I remember!
this would be awesome for hotline miami
Can you reverse the directions input of the joystick so that you use joystick with right hand and buttons with left hand?
Midnight Resistance!!
Came here to recommend this arcade game with the twisty controller.
Absolutely 💯😁
I assume this works with Forgotten Worlds? If so, I'm SOLD
Okay, I have to know. Can I twist out a hadouken with it?
I can imagine the pain of double 360 motions 😂
I wonder who owns the rights to Heavy Barrel now? If anyone.
