notice how ESPN, and all sports media never gave this much attention. she literally pushed the defender down out of ANGER, feeling the defender doesn't DESERVE to be that close to her. she should've been ejected from the game. and to be honest, Purdue FW may have had a chance to win this game without Clark's offense for Iowa. If it were a player for Purdue FW who had pushed Clark down, she would've been ejected. Clark had previously pushed her off, then forcefully pushed her down. They didn't even call the initial push off and they're looking right at it, she gets away with dirty fouls like that all the time.
Ejection from the game, 2 shots + possession, possibly 2-3 pts, that's about 6-7 pts for Purdue FW, which would make it a single-digit deficit WITHOUT Iowa's main offensive player. The officials knew that could be a major upset if Clark was ejected, so they just gave her a flagrant when it should've been an ejection.

What’s there to review? What’s the confusion? There’s no need to slow it down frame by frame and replay it a gazillion times lol. It was blatantly obvious the first time that CC clearly lost control and crossed the line. I wouldn’t even call this a foul.. she initiated a fight with that girl and flashed tf out. Look, I KNOW how physical, frustrating, and emotional bball can be.. but this behavior is inexcusable for any player/person ESP one who plays at this level and is probably a role model to thousands of young kids out there watching her. What pisses me off are these announcers😤 they should be impartial but are clearly CC STANS. I mean, they really acted surprised with the call being against cc lmao wtf? They even tried to justify her actions bc ‘she’s good and always being guarded heavily’ lol it’s true but completely irrelevant. Your level of talent and popularity doesn’t (or at least shouldn’t) give you a free pass to try and physically harm another person. **There’s being aggressive.. then there’s just plain assault** 😂 If I were the refs, I would’ve thrown her ass out. If I was her coach, I would’ve sat her ass down. Either way her ass would’ve been off that court.

@@hyper_man-23. I’ll bet they were fouling her the entire time they were guarding her and she got fed up that the refs weren’t calling it. Some players are unguardable without fouling. I watched Arizona and SC do it to Paige Bueckers. Refs didn’t call it. Arm bars on her everywhere she went to slow her down. That’s a foul. But they weren’t calling it. Pay more attention to games. Anytime a defender’s hand is on the offensive players stomach, that’s a foul. There is no hand checking. But refs try not to call “ticky tack” fouls as much as possible. Even though they’re fouls, if they called them all, the game would be boring and there wouldn’t be any players left on the court. She deserved the intentional. But you can’t let players push you around without repercussions, or they’ll keep doing it.

He would hound him in a physical way to wear him down. This is a coaching opportunity. How to use body leverage and footwork. When a d player tries to body you up like this, upon contact, spin and hook the back of the d player to turn the tables of physical advantage. It is a cat and mouse game. Often outside players don’t have the skills to take advantage of this type of situation. Post players are constantly dealing with body contacts and pressure. In this situation the d player is actually giving up any chance of recovery due to her standing straight up and giving up strength and reaction agility. This situation can be drilled and perfection. I would teach my players to hope for this to happen… players need skills so they don’t lose their cool in frustration. C’mon coach! Get it together.

She has an attitude problem, lack of leadership, and spoiled. Never liked her and I guess the true colors always come out. Angel Reese is the same way, matter of fact...all of these "superstars" are the problem. Ever since they started earning actual paychecks with NIL, you're starting to see the "diva" come out in a lot of these players. And that doesn't bode well for team chemistry, and guess where Angel Reese is right now...

It probably would be worse were it a black player, but Clark wasn't the one who initiated a dirty play. She reacted to a dirty player who was chest bumping her and intentionally fouling her that refs wasn't calling. But as soon as Clark gives push back, now refs want to call intentional foul on Clark. Can't win for losing. But this is what comes along with superstardom. Some of these players are also jealous of Clark when they should be thanking Clark for growing the women's game to the point where now some of these players who weren't recognized before are now more in the spotlight. 💯

Boy, that sure looks like a flagrant foul -- intentional and unnecessary contact that could have resulted in an injury, and was not designed to halt play (which is the criteria for an intentional foul). Clark is lucky she wasn't ejected for a flagrant 2 -- a lesser player might have been (as Purdue FW player's head narrowly missed bouncing off the floor).
